Comfortable seating. Note that their takeout menu & dine-in mene are VERY different. We went in because I heard good things... about their bento only to find out that those are take out only. Dine in are all dishes or hotpot. Nevertheless, food was stilltasty & displayed nicely. Most importantly kids enjoyed every dish! Read more

We arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately - 7 of us, mid-week. Waitress was very helpful with the hot pot... menu and our questions. The sesame oil chicken broth was excellent and the slight under-seasoning allowed us to customize ourbowls with the great condiments. The sides of Taiwanese sausage, Hakka style pork belly and popcorn chicken were all very good. The hot pot worked well for our sized group and we ate until we couldn't eat anymore! It was a pretty good deal at under $200including a bottle of sake, a couple bottles of beer and tip Read more

We made a reservation at 18:45pm and arrived early witnessed a full house. The waitress forgot about our reservation and gave... our table away. Luckily, the adjacent restaurant, YuTing, was also theirs, so we were transferred to there and we could stillorder food from Jianhu. Minced fork, dragon balls, ginger duck pot, Taiwanese style cabbage were among the dishes weordered. Pretty decent and authentic Taiwanese cuisine. They do not take Amex unfortunately. Read more

This place takes me back home with authentic Taiwanese flavours beyond your typical salt n pepper chicken. That said, their sp... chicken is hands down the most authentic - the seasoning has a hint of plum powder and gives it street cred. The deep friedoysters???? are juicy and better than other restos. The typhoon ???? will take you to flavour country and is a must. Theirlobster sticky ???? (aka oil rice) full of???? au jus is drool worthy. Is it pricy? Yes the seafood can be, but you get what youpay for. Don’t look for cheap eats here, instead, expect authentic flavours and to pay fairly for it. Been here for dine-intwice post pandemic lockdowns and quality has been top notch both times, with fab service to match. Don’t hesitate, goeeeeet!!! Read more

The food, service and environment are great. Recognized the tall girl waitress from elsewhere! She's very attentive as I... remembered. We ordered their salty egg fried rice, shrimp and Taiwanese chicken nuggets. Also ordered the lamb hot pot, butforgot to take photo. They even gifted us fried taro balls, the kids loved it. Food portions are great, very tasty andflavourful. Will definitely come back here again to try other hotpot as winter is approaching. Read more
