What an absolute disappointment. My husband and I are early risers, so on the weekends, it's usually difficult for us to find a... place that's open so early, that isn't Denny's. But when we googled some breakfast spots, we saw Eggspectation was open at 7amand we were ecstatic since the photos looked amazing... it's CLICK BAIT! We arrived around 8:15am and there wasn't a lot ofpeople in the restaurant at that time. There was a lot of options from both the food and beverage menu, so we ordered ourbeverages first, the Green Light, while perusing the food menu... they came back and said they ran out of spinach - well theregoes that idea, so my husband got an OJ and coffee & I had gotten their grapefruit juice. Then, to my disappointment, theydidn't have the Waffle Bacon Benedict on the menu, but they had it on their online menu, so already I was disappointed. In theend, my husband ordered the "Chicken & Waffles", with a side of bacon and a poached egg. I went with the "High RisePancakes". Please, do not order these items if you go there. It stated chicken 'tenders' but ended up being an entire chickenbreast with a less than appealing batter, a small portion of syrup, an overcooked poached egg and their famous Belgium wafflethat probably shouldn't be called famous - the bacon on both our ends wasn't even close to being crispy, if anything it wassoggy and he had only had one refill on his coffee, even though it wasn't busy. The High Rise Pancakes, was absolute garbage, noamount of syrup could save these pancakes. It crumbled from being so dry, even though it was undercooked, the quality of thesausage seem like it came from the dollar store and again, the bacon, ugh. For what they're charging for these meals, isabsolutely highway robbery. If you're foodies like us, avoid this place if you can - Denny's would be better than this spot! Read more

Eggspectation founded in 1993 in Montreal. Now it has 7 branches in Montreal, 5 in Quebec, & 1 in BC. ??I don?t recommend this... restaurant if you are in Richmond or around. ? The atmosphere and area is almost neat & nice. ???? The washrooms were not thatclean. Women?s washroom was like something had exploded there. ???????The servers tried to be nice, yet they were notprofessional and you don?t feel to be served properly compared to many restaurants in Downtown or even Burnaby. ???? Forbrunch, it does mot meet your expectations and generally the taste of food is not good. So, I can?t recommend anything special. Read more
It was our first time here and was very pleased with out dining experience. Our server was amazing and I loved their scrambled... eggs, their pancakes, and just the variety of things they offer on their menu. Bit disappointed with their iced tea, therewasn?t much ice in it but it tasted like nothing. Definitely coming back though to try more of their menu. Read more
Such a good brunch spot! Lots of selection and friendly service also ample space so even if it?s a bit busy you can find a spot... without much wait. Just right at the accent hotel so can?t miss it. I had the Lobster Benny! 5/5 would come back to try thesmoothie and juice bar. Read more
This is a great place for brunch. They offer spacious and socially distanced seating, delicious dishes and prompt service. Their... crepes were memorably unique with a sweet chicken taste. There are also Christmas decorations throughout the restaurant to makefor a festive dining experience for the winter holidays. Parking is easy with many spots available just outside the restaurant. One of amazing breakfast places in Richmond. So many breakfast options with best quality and quantity. Not too heavy on pocket.... Great service with great place. Service was great. The server went out of his way to accommodate us in offering to put our cake in the fridge and letting us... know that if we're celebrating a birthday we get free pancakes. The food was good and standard. Poutine was tasty! Read more
