We were celebrating a special occasion so it was nice that Richmond has an upscale restaurant to choose from. The atmosphere... felt vibrant and bustling. I shared the duck platter with my wife and it was enough to fill us up with the bread appetizer. Theduck was really good but didn?t wow me as much as some French restaurants. It needed some sort of vegetable to balance out themeat. I?d definitely get it again though. They have a kids menu which was a big bonus. The service, as mentioned before, wasokay but not outstanding. They were professional but not the most attentive with long periods of time in between appearances. We came in earlier this year for my wife's birthday dinner. The manager and servers were very attentive, friendly and... accommodating.. We went for a variety of dishes and finished with a desert on the house. While the potators were very delicious,I found they were very filling. If you're looking to sample different items, I recommend leaving those for last if you're stillfeeling hungry and trying all the other protein based dishes upfront.. Salads were lovely as well. I had a wonderful experience dining here with a large party! We were so well taken care of; the event manager, floor manager,... wait staff, and team in the kitchen provided us excellent service and aesthetically plated meals. They were professional, kind,organized, understanding, reassuring, attentive, and successfully carried out each of my requests I had provided ahead of time.The food and drinks were so delicious, each course was presented beautifully, and the decorum provided a great atmosphere. Ricardo provided an amazing service. We ordered a bunch of stuff from the menu and he paired the appetizers and main courses for... us. The meal started of light and ended with heavy flavoured dishes. Ricardo was with us the whole way and took care of us. Onethe best dining experience we had in a long while, especially when we eat out everyday. Good service and good food. A lot ofdifferent flavours. Would definitely come back! Read more
We were staying at the Versante hotel and had breakfast and lunch at Bruno. We regretted that we did not have dinner there as... well. The food was so AMAZING. It is so good that we would take a trip from Seattle to Richmond just to eat there. Everything isso flavorful, creative, fresh and also very filling. We were skeptical at first seeing the ?bad? reviews but I would give theexperience here 10 stars if I could. The brunch set is only offered on the weekend. It is $56 per person but each person wouldhave total 7 different dishes. There are many good and healthy options for breakfast as well. The price is very reasonable forthe portion. We could not eat everything so we had to take to-go for 2 of the dishes. We are planning to have dinner there soon. Read more
Went to Bruno for my friends? birthday and we all had the best experience thanks to the amazing team at Bruno. I had to give a... huge shout out to the restaurant managers - Rita and Ruby, who went above and beyond and made the night unforgettable???? Probably the best dine out experience we had in Vancouver!! Food was absolutely amazing and presentation was impeccable.The chefs and kitchen staff put so much heart into it and we really enjoyed every bite! The scroll loaf was to die for!! Ourserver, Hugh, was super attentive and professional. Leo who stopped and took photos for us was really kind as well! Had a wonderful experience with my group last night at Bruno! We had the set menu and everything tasted amazing (especially the... pork belly!!!) and we all left happy and full.
