They charge you .50 cents for tap water even when you?ve bought other items. Found this quite unusual since other café type... business give water either for free or at least free to paying customers. (ik it?s just .50cents but I paid for other itemstherefore water should be complimentary) especially since blenz is a corporate company and not some mom & pop, they can affordto give their patrons water free of charge. won?t be coming back here for water that?s for sure. Giving this place 3 stars because I enjoy their hot chocolate & some other coffee beverages, but their baked goods are just... horrible. The last 2-3 times I have purchased a food item from Blenz, I have been really disappointed. Most recently, I Idecided to purchase a cranberry orange muffin.. Actually it was more like a hunk of dough. I took a knife and cut the muffininto chunks in the hopes of finding a cranberry, but not a cranberry in sight. It was just plain old yellow, dense, andoverly-sweet. I was disappointed that I paid for something that was marketed as a 'cranberry muffin' but was not. When I took itto the barista to show her the quality of my muffin, she just said 'that's too bad, sorry about that'. If this place wants tobe recognized as a good coffee shop, they need to up their game with their products. I know for sure I won't be coming back hereto study or do work because I don't want to spend my money on bad quality product and be disappointed again. Read more

Blenz makes one of the best hot chocolates in town. Their matcha latte is pretty good, but their signature drink has got to be... their dark hot chocolate. A large hot chocolate is made up of four scoops of dark hot chocolate chips ground and mixed withsteaming hot milk. Other places use a chocolate syrup or powdered conconction, but Blenz hot chocolate is made from realchocolate. Simply amazing. Sorry, I don't have a picture of the product, but in this case, a picture would not do it justice,you jist have to try it yourself. Interesting fact: I went to a Blenz in Ueno, Japan, where they serve beer there. With allthe coffee places offering matcha drinks, Blenz is the only one with a deep connection to Japan.
