Have stayed at The Riverfront Hotel twice, once last summer and again over Thanksgiving. Both times have been so disappointing... for such a nice looking hotel on the outside. Front desk staff have been very nice though. Both times our rooms have been onthe second floor and the rooms have been filthy. This last stay I went down and requested another room because upon check inthe room had never been cleaned, however, the bed had been remade with the same sheets as the previous occupants. How do I knowthis, there was hair all over the sheets and pillows. The garbage can was full of whiskey and beer bottles, the tub had residueof previous occupants. Requested another room which was given but it too was disgusting. Floors are so bad your feet turnblack, table was coated with gooey food residue, things left in fridge, tub not clean, bedding left me questioning if it wasclean or just remade. From my first impression of the room I was so disappointed..the smell of the room was unbearable. After complaining to front... desk and also mentioning that I have a breathing condition they failed to do anything to accommodate. When I returned back tothe room there were spots of blood on the bed. The bathroom smells horrific. When I asked to speak to manager they said she wastoo busy to come out and talk to her own costumer. My husband and I felt good disgusted to sleep in the bed we pulled the sheetsoff and took our own personal blanket out of the car and put them on the bed and tried avoiding to touch anything. We stayed 3 days: 1, Room floors made my white socks and feet black after one trip from bed to bathroom. 2. Breakfast was... limited in offerings and they ran out of certain item after only one hour. 3. Front desk people were compassionate about helping you but hamstringed by manger in completing things, 4, We left our medically necessary pillows in the room but called 5 hourslater when we realized it, we were told they would be shipped. But it took 4 phone calls, 3 emails, and 9 days before theyshipped them. It cost $25.15 at UPS to ship this less than 10 lbs package but we were charged over $73 on our CC. Requests weresent to the manager and Best Western's CEO for an explanation but I received no response from either. As a Best Westernpreferred customer I expected more Customer Service from this hotel and Corporate office but they do not seem to care for theircustomers just your money. Just for the record I have never seen or receive this poor of customer care at any other BestWestern. Read more

Very nice rooms good pool and right on the river trail I had a very good weekend for a reasonable price. The service was OK.... Would be nice to have pool towels in room. The bathroom fan was very loud. The main light in the room was burned out hard tofind light when we first arrived. Read more

Good place We like the location but no commercial rate or deals for us construction guys with huge truck the parking lot is... perfect. Called a few times to talk with a manager about working a better rate but we never get called back. Great staff cleanrooms just wish it was closer to the other guys we use when in town. The rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. The waffle maker makes food waffles. Our shower pressure was great, although water... temperature control will keep you on your toes. The decor is an interesting mix of retro and modern. The location worked forwhere I needed it to be, and the river trail behind the property makes for a lovely stroll. Checking out soon. It was a very busy weekend. There was a line to check in when I got up front. Robin was very accommodating. We were checked in... quickly and efficiently. Our room was very clean. The staff at this hotel try really hard. We came down for breakfast and it was all picked over with not much left. What we did... have was decent for the price. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are comfortable too, the swimming pool and the layout ofthis hotel is extraordinary, in the old school fashion and its location along the river makes morning walks something you don'twant to miss.
