Reviews for Drumheller's Food & Drink in Richland, WA
Eaten here twice, first time was upstairs but they are remodeling so have converted a portion of the lobby downstairs into a... smaller dining area. Reservations recommended! Service was very prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food tasted good, but Iwasn't overly wowed by anything. I liked that there were GF and vegetarian choices- apple endive salad was a nice combination ofingredients. The squash risotto was unique and also good, but I wish it had more squash or other veggies. Read more
The Strawberries and Creme waffles are amazing. The fresh fruit bowls are large and a meal within itself. The food is always... fresh and high quality. It's a smaller place, so make a reservation if you plan on going, especially in the colder months whenthe outdoor patio may be closed. A great place for breakfast, dinner or a just a cocktail or two. We stayed at the lodge for the first time this weekend for our first wedding Anniversary. We booked reservations at the... restaurant to enjoy on our anniversary night and we were really looking forward to it based off the great reviews. However, whenwe arrived they did not have our river view seating available that we reserved so I said we would just sit outside (we didn’twant to wait as we hadn’t ate all day). And good thing too because we watched and none of those seats opened up for a verylong time. The staff wasn’t super friendly and we were then seated outside at a table that was not clean and feathers wereblowing all over my face. Not a huge deal but not a great atmosphere for a nice anniversary dinner. We then waited almost 40minutes for someone to come take our order. I was very confused as I saw many waiters and we just kept figuring they’d come.I’ve never waited that long to have my order taken, or to even be checked on at all. I should have asked but I honestly justkept thinking they would come. The waiter apologized and said there was some confusion on who was taking our table. Weird? Notsure what that was about but she also wasn’t super friendly. After another almost 40 minutes we got our food. We then had towait for a knife for ten minutes after she said she was going to grab one. The food was good, nothing out of this world butdefinitely not bad. Our water cups were dirty and and had stuff floating in them. When we booked our reservation they asked whatwe were celebrating so I kinda thought they'd maybe write on a dessert for our anniversary or something? Why ask if they don’tdo anything? Just seemed weird. The outdoor seating was also very uncomfortable and you slid back in your seat so it made ithard to eat and to talk to each other because we felt far away. I’d recommend sitting inside if you can. Overall, it was areally long wait and decent food for an okay price. But expensive for us and it wasn’t very special at all. No one really ap Read more
Went for the 3 course Valentine's Day Dinner, and overall it was a enjoyable meal that gave a good overview of the food at... Druhmhellars'. The ambiance here was mixed, as the seating was in a hotel lobby so you saw hotel guests checking in and out aswell as people wandering in hotel robes which was mildly off-putting. The view of the river however, was quite nice. Theservice was excellent and attentive throughout the evening. The food was mostly good and there was an excellent cocktail menuwith some unusual choices to try. I highly recommend the "Cara Cara & Cranberry" salad (our favorite part of the meal, it wasperfectly balanced in flavor and texture) as well as the rosemary bread with herb butter (absolutely delightful!). Our entreeswere lukewarm when they arrived, and the "Miso and Tamari Glazed Sablefish" was definitely the low point of our meal (especiallyfor the price). It was average at best, had far too much broth, and an extremely small portion of fish. My gnocchi wasexcellent, with great lemon undertones, I just wish it had arrived warmer. The dessert was a nice meal closer, and I liked thetart pairing of raspberry clafouti with the lemon gelee. I will probably return in the future to try more of the menu, and havedefinitely have that salad again. Read more
Surprisingly nice ambience, riverside views. Super friendly attentive staff were the best I'd seen in a while, striking up... welcoming conversations at every table. Food was good, with a lot of things made in-house. Eggs Benedict with carved (notsliced) ham, homemade yogurt - nice touches. The coffee never got cold and they constantly refilled it. Read more
Finally made it down to Drumheller's at the Lodge for breakfast, and I'm glad I did! When judging breakfast my go to dish is... the eggs benedict. Not only is it a favorite of mine but the preparation of a proper sauce is a sign of skill, especiallyhollandaise. It is unfortunately the case that many restaurants resort to fake hollandaise sauce, a great offense if you askme. The sauce here is definitely real, and it's not too bad. My only suggestion is bumping up the acidity a bit in thehollandaise. Other than that I have no complaints! The breakfast potatoes were also decenly prepared. So far Drumhellers hasbeen one of my best breakfast experiences here in Tri cities and I will definitely make a plan to return. Read more
Mediocre at best. Sweet waitress. Had to purchase bread separately, when it generally comes with a meal. The food was good, but... didn't make our taste buds dance. Probably would not recommend, or return. Kind of disappointing for our Christmas getaway. Read more
