We've eaten here many times at first it was really really good. I like chile rellenos and they do them right. Power of the last... few times they've kind of slipped a little bit so that's why they only get free stars. Still a great restaurant great place togo Read more

Kinda surprised by the negative reviews...I guess every place can have bad days but we're a family of 4 gringos that stayed the... night in Richfield on the way home to Phoenix from Denver. We drove up and down that main street and La Gringa was the onlyplace we could all agree on and boy am I glad we stopped. Everyone in our family agreed the food was excellent and the servicewas extremely friendly. We were served by a somewhat shy and adorable young girl and a man and woman who I assumed was her momand dad. All 3 of them came to our table for one reason or another during our meal and I assume they are the owners? I grew upin Southern California, now in Phoenix and Tucson. Have taken more trips to different parts of Mexico than I can count, so I'vehad lots of Mexican food and this place has great food. That it's in the middle of some small town in Utah was such a pleasantsurprise. The Cubano orta was the best torta I've ever had and it was twice the size of a normal torta. My family was laughingand gawking at the size when it came out and thought there was no way I could finish it all. Spoiler alert: I did. I don'tremember what the others in my family got but my daughter got a plate of carne asada street tacos. One too many apparently, Iate one of those as well and it was as good as any I've ever had. The one and only thing that could have been better was thehouse salsa that is served with the chips. Pretty standard tomato based salsa. Nothing special. I asked the server if they hadanything hotter in the back and she brought out a sauce that, while it didn't have too much heat to it, was the most uniquetasting salsa/sauce I've ever tasted and it was delicious. It seemed like it was cream based? Not exactly sure but when I askedthe lady what it was made of she just said chile de arbol. I don't know what made it seem creamy but boy did it go well with thefood. Anyway, I don't normally leave reviews for places but when we walked out of that place I said Read more

I had the taco salad and instantly noticed that the meat had a wangy taste. It was bad and i picked around it. I barely made... it across the street to my motel before violently throwing up. I think they served rotten meat to me. Read more

Our orders came with cold refried beans, and the carne asada had a grey like color to it, and did not taste very good. Seems... like the beans, rice and even the carne asada meat had been frozen multiple times. I do like their variety in their menu, butprobably won't eat their again. Read more

They continue to have great food and exceptional service. The street tacos are still some of the best ones in Richfield, if not... the best. ---------------- I had the Wednesday special, an pork enchilada and chimichanga, followed by fried ice cream. I am afan of the tacos they have with the exception of topping consistency as well as a bit pricy for what you get. It is always anice, quick lunch, with fast and friendly service. PS: Tacos are always a good option. Read more

Nice little place and the food was great. Got takeout for my mother and I. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I... asked for some of their guacamole on the side and they gave us a large container of it. The chips were fresh and not oversalted. Read more
