Since it is the 4th of July, we had to go get some BBQ. We found Ten 50 BBQ. I was surprised at how big it is. There was a lot... of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. It was very unique. The meats are ordered in an outdoor covered setting. You havethe privilege of seeing all of the different types of meat they have and it is hard not to order a little of each type. Theyhave brisket, chicken, pork ribs and sausage. We ordered some of each. Then you go inside and order the sides. Some of the sideswere in a buffet style of ordering. The fries and okra were a little different. The drinks were in the seating area. The sausagewas fabulous. The brisket fell apart upon cutting it. I didn't care for the pork ribs perhaps they needed different spices. Thechicken was good. My fries were good as was the coleslaw which has cilantro sprinkled around. I wasn't a fan of either type ofBBQ sauce. One was a tomato based sauce, and the other was a vinegar based sauce. The iced tea was freshly made, so it wasgreat. It was a little pricey. Up from San Antonio and Resturant was suggested by friends. I saw pictures and the rating and decided to give this a try. I... don?t normally post but thought I?d share. Brisket although was tender was very flavorless. The sausage tasted generic. H-E-B?stastes better. The ribs were also tender but again no taste. The potato salad had way too much dill. The best part was the macand cheese and also chicken and brisket torpedos. The baked potato was ok but offered very little condiments on the side. Thefries were cold but that was due to the drive back to the room but yet had better flavor than the meats. Definitely not worththe price or the 4.4 stars. Presentation of the food was good. The restaurant looked very beautiful and modern but I feel thatover shadows the quality and may blind customers eyes. Read more
The brisket is not tender at all but some advice, just chew it extra long. Everything else tastes delicious. Specially their... banana pudding. If I?m being completely honest, this is why I come here. It doesn?t taste like the artificial banana flavoredone, this one tastes like the banana pudding grandma makes from scratch. All their sides are very tasty! That?s what the 4 starsare for? Not the brisket. Very pricey for brisket that isn?t juicy and tender if you ask me. Read more
Absolutely amazing food and unique atmosphere! My husband and I got the brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. Definitely the best BBQ... we have ever had!! The mac n cheese and banana pudding were also the absolute best! This is a must try place! 10/10! Read more
As a true barbecue enthusiast from North Carolina i can say this is legit, and was a good introduction to the Dallas bbq... scene. The lunch line style ordering makes it a set and quick to get your food. The brisket was super tender and juicy, as wellas the ribs. The pulled pork was a little lacking but everything else looked good. Great sides, really liked the potatoes saladas it was more a vinegar base. The sauces were very good too. So it was my first time here and I have to order a lot of things just to make sure I'm coming back. I'm coming back. Lol. The... brisket was tender. The chicken and brisket torpedoes were delicious. The jalapeño sausage was good. The house sauce (tomatobased) was amazing. The beans with brisket was great. The mac n cheese was good. The potato salad was amazing and it had a lotof ingredients. Oh my!!! This was killer BBQ!! I got chopped brisket and it was so delicious! Melt in your mouth goodness, tender and juicy... and wonderful bark. The Five Cheese Mac had great flavor and the onion rings were crispy crunchy deliciousness. I brought thebanana pudding back with me so I haven?t eaten it yet. Corn on the cob was good too. Staff was super helpful and if I was notfrom out of state, I would definitely go again. Place is gigantic so be sure to wear your walking shoes. You will definitelywork up an appetite by the time you get to your table. A definite place to eat. Read more
