One of the mom&pa local Korean restaurants! Instead of the seafood pancake, i opted for the spicy noodles. The noodle soup was a... bit salty but very tasty. The cold Korean barley tea is always refreshing. Great value and good food. Read more

Best Korean in town! This is a hole in the wall restaurant, but they have authentic Korean food! We have been there a couple... times and every time we are very satisfied with the food! I usually get the seafood tofu pot and my boyfriend gets the spicypork and kimchi. The sizes of the dish are decent and very spicy! Their seafood pancake is very good as well. Everything thereis self serviced. Last time we were there, we had to wait for 30 minutes. Therefore, keep in mind the wait may be long if theyget busy. Highly recommended. Read more

Overall, Food taste is great. But, I won?t come back here because of the amount of food you get for what you pay. As a Korean,... when I saw the number of side dishes, I thought it is so lame. And Bulgogi, tons of mung beans and a very small amount of meatfor 13 dollars before tax? This should be a joke. There are more Korean restaurants that serve same food for similar price orlower and provide more side dishes. I personally don?t recommend here. Read more

Little mom pop shop. Food was good. Great spice and flavor to the tofu soup. Ramyun noodle soup was a bit spicier than expected.... Overall, will revisit to support small business. Read more

First time to visit Dallas on my own for a concert and I wanted to stop by a real comfort Korean food as it reminds me of home... and my mom. This Fish Egg Soup was absolutely sumptuous! Well worth it! People would travel for amazing experience especiallywith food. And I wouldn't mind traveling 30 mins from my hotel to have a fulfilling satisfied tummy. I would definitely comeback before I head back my base. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Read more

Been a downward sloop since I started going 5 years ago. Its been getting more pricey, and the chicken from the fire chicken has... been reduced to add more bean sprouts. Get it spicy, its pretty good and the rice cakes are perfect. One of my favorite drinks, the sweet rice drink that used to be free is now $2 a pop. I do not recommend the dolsot bibimbap. It is not crispy enough andthe portion size is pretty small. Read more

Located on the corner of Plano Rd and Buckingham, Joy Kitchen is a gem of a restaurant. If you are looking for authentic, hole... in the wall Korean food, this is the place. My favorite dish here is the dumpling soup (manduguk). The broth is seasonedperfectly and served in a piping hot clay bowl. Included with the entree are three sides and a serving of purple rice. I wasdisappointed by the amount of side dishes provided compared to other Korean restaurants which is the reason for four stars. Themain dish, however, was wonderful. The dumplings were very well-seasoned and the slices of beef were tender. My wife ordered thefish egg soup and it was also very delicious. Our favorite part of this restaurant is the rice drink, which used to be free butis now $2 a cup. Just like other small businesses, COVID has also had an impact on Joy Kitchen. If you are looking for greatauthentic Korean food then look no further. Read more
