It was our 29th wedding anniversary and I wanted something good. I’m not a big steak eater, so I had been researching seafood... takeouts. I had had my first boiling pot on our honeymoon, so Hot Crab seemed to hit the theme. We both went all in and got theLobster Boil. Oh, my goodness! Who would have thought a boiled egg would taste so yummy! I wanted more. The shrimp wasplentiful, the potatoes perfect, but I could have had more, the corn tasty, and the lobster was the biggest lobster I’ve everhad. Oh, I forgot. We have oysters for our appetizer. Next time I’d forego the oysters and leave room for the main course.And we had cheesecake for dessert. We choose mild for the heat level, but you couldn’t prove it by me. It had a heat factorwhile eating the dish, but right afterwards I couldn’t tell. A definite A+. Update 10-21: I ordered the Coconut Shrimp withCajun fries. Food are alright of flavors, the Catfish basket were salty, Oysters steam sauce wasn't the savory flavor of spicy. The shrimp... steam sauce missing buttery garlic spicy sauce also. I've eaten at Crab Station, Mr. CRABS Restaurant SUPER GOOD AND SHRIMP AREBIGGER THAN THEIRS. I LOVE SEAFOOD. THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND PLACE ARE CLEAN. We were visiting from Colorado, and were anxious to find some seafood. This was perfect. You get a ton of food for the price,... and the menu is extensive. Everyone's food was awesome, and the service was excellent. Since they don't have their liquorlicense yet, they let us walk across the street and buy some wine and beer. Hot Crab has the best seafood boil! Not sure why it hasnt gained a lot of popularity yet, but the seafood is fresh and tastes... great with their different sauce combos! We've been here twice already and each time the waitstaff is super friendly andattentive. The seafood itself is really good too. No complaints here!
