My buddy and i hang out at fox and hound once a week to play pool! We love it there! Great drinks specials, music and the food... is amazing! The waiter Daniel has definitely contributed to us becoming regulars at this place. He always goes above and beyondto give us the best service! We also recently started getting served by zoey! she’s just as nice and awesome! Two greatservers that definitely leave a good impression on the business. Please hire more people like them! The only thing I recommendis having beer pitchers, but they already have really BIG beers (32oz). That makes me happy regardless lol Keep up the goodwork! Read more
Place has gone down since I've been there. I ordered the fish n chips as anyone would at an English type pub.. however, my chips... were not that great.. they were crinkle fries (I like crinkle fries), however, these were like frozen old fries from an old bag.They were not fried, they were baked!! Recently moved to Dallas area for a new job. I get off at work at 4pm so I'd stop by Fox & Hound for the "free" pool. I did this... 5 days a week for 3 weeks. Then suddenly a new bartender decides to charge me for the pool. She say's the pool is free only withfood purchase. I told her I have never eaten there. (I typically spend $20 to $30 dollars each visit with beer and tip. I tipminimum $5 bucks even if I spend $2. The night prior I had a $16.05 tab and tipped the waitress Jess $13.95.) The new chickstill wants to charge me for the pool. I ask to speak with the manager. Some guy named Oscar is the manager. He basically says"lucky we don't back charge you". I told him "you need to deal with your employee training and/or discipline and not attack thecustomer." The right thing to do would have been to explain the rates for future dates of pool and drop the pool charges since Ihad been playing pool for weeks and was never charged. He decided to charge me anyway. I paid the tab, NO TIP, and told him Iwon't be back EVER. You lost a customer. THEN and ONLY THEN did he offer to drop the pool charge. I said "no" and told him tokeep it. When he had an opportunity to do the right thing he chose to screw the customer. I will never go back. The atmosphereis not that great and the only reason I went was because it was close to my hotel and the pool was free. If I have to pay toplay I'll go to a real pool hall with better tables and better lighting and better attitudes. Another note: the floors aresticky everywhere there is tile and the bathroom reeks of urine. That's why I never ordered food there. I won't order food froma restaurant when the front line is so filthy because I'd expect the back line is worse. Read more
Superbowl LVI watched the game here. Great place to watch sports, or shoot pool. The Server Daniel N. was great. I had the Bacon... Cheeseburger, and fries. The fries were good, the burger was just okay. The beef patty was a good size but, it was very bland inflavor. They need to season the beef before they cook it. Fun atmosphere to play some pool and have a quick bite to eat. Service is super slow, however. The pool tables are a bit worn... out but they work how they’re supposed to. When you visit make sure you order your food and drinks right away because it’lltake about 30mins for everything to arrive. Read more
