This place doesn't even deserve a single star. THEY HAD A HUGE ROACH crawling on the buffet floor and I told them about it and... all they said was thank you before getting a broom and garbage pail to sweep it up!! This has to be the worst buffet I have ever been to. Everything was old, stale, or just gross flavor. Just bad. Honestly, it... felt like the bare minimum type place for a fronting establishment. Terrible food, dry and undercooked. The water was unfiltered- like you you can taste something weird in it. Taste a lot like... metal is the best way to describe it. The door said it will be closing at 10:00 but it was actually 9:00. We got there at 8:30expecting that there will be food because the door said it was closing at 10:00pm. Regardless I brought my concern to themanager and alI he had to say was because of Covid-19 and that we came late. If we came late then they shouldn't have acceptedus to dine in. Covid-19 happens years ago and every business is back to operational. So neither excuse was reasonable. He onlytook 10% off our ticket. The least place you can consider for meet-up. Very terrible servers and manager. I had an unpleasant experience with my friends... while chose to celebrate a special birthday today. The manager also displayed his racism traits, after collecting tips on mycard, and blauntantly rejected to help us with group picture with the birthday celebrant. How can you collect tip, and refusedto just help take a group picture. Not a happy place, hostile environment to hang out. The manager even called the corps for usbecause we are blacks, and threatened he doesn't want to see us in restaurant again. Kudos to the Richardson Police departmentfor the display of professionalism and ethics. If you need to eat be careful of Flaming Buffet Richardson, so that you don'tget bullied by thier management. I don't know if we caught this place at the slowest point of their week (five pm on a Saturday), but the best thing I can say... about it is that I'm typing this on Sunday and nobody is dead yet. The not so bad list - lo-mein, hot and sour soup, broccolibeef/chicken, sesame-less sesame chicken, Chinese crab/cheesy crad - that's how they spelled it! - (fake crab in mayonnaisesprinkled with cheese), Chinese doughnuts (biscuit dough in sugar variety), espresso cake squares. The really bad list -battered and fried snow crab clusters, crab Rangoon, fried fish (what turns fried whitefish yellow aside from turmeric?), stewedmushrooms. Everything else was meh at best. Unless you're looking for a cultural culinary adventure (and keep in mind, not alladventures are good adventures), I'd recommend picking another ameri-chinese buffet. Read more
This place was open for 3 months before covid19 shut them down in 2020. Now fully open we found the selection to be more than... adequate with lots of seafood and Asian dishes. Service was very attentive. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. We willdefinitely be back even without the valuepak coupon. Read more
