My wife and I have been coming here a couple of times in the last 2-3 years and every single time, both the food and the service... have been top notch. This time we had the Crispy Calamari to start, and they couldn't be more crispier and tastier. The bestcalamaris I have had for a while now. Next we had a cup of Gumbo and a Shrimp PoBoy. The gumbo tasted great. The Shrimp PoBoywas great too although it was a little dry and I wish the sauce they used could have been more. Still no complaintsthough. Lastly, we had the Bread Pudding for dessert. Again, easily the best pudding I have had except maybe for some in NewOrleans. Great service as usual and I look forward to coming back soon. Read more

Arrived at 5:15pm on a Friday night. Our party of 4 was seated right away. We did notice that within 30 minutes people were... waiting for tables. Catfish was very good. I don?t like heavy batter so it was perfect for me. Portions were large enough for mywife and I to split but we aren?t big eaters. Service was friendly and attentive. It took a big longer that expected to get ourfood but it was busy. And our waitress stopped by to let know would be out soon. Definitely will be back. Read more

This was my first time going to this location. The customer service was not horrible. When I went, it was more workers than... customers so there should have been exceptional customer service. There should have been a hi, bye, and reasonable checking inwhen I received my food. It was a lot of 50+ people, so maybe it is simply not my vibe. They catered to them constantly. Foodis standard. Not outstanding but not nasty. Not a large selection. I will not be back, but it was decent. Not worth 5 stars dueto service and food quality but not a terrible place either. It?s a preference. I prefer Tricky Fish across the street aftergoing here. Read more

Updated 5-star Review in May 2022: After speaking with manager Ryan, my wife and I decided to give Fish City Grill a second... chance. We dined in and had an excellent experience, completely opposite from last time. Erica, Robin, Lauren, Chef Mike, andtheir team provided perfect service. This time both the raw oysters and grilled oysters were good size and very tasty. My wifeordered the Seafood Medley and I had the Grilled Redfish (both daily specials) and they were both well seasoned, full of flavor, and the quantity was perfect. Overall we really appreciate the hard work that everyone put into providing a great experience forus and we will be coming back going forward. Thank you! Initial 2-star Review in March 2022: To start with the pros, I feel theflavor is good, and I also feel the staff I?ve encountered seem to be very helpful and willing to provide good, solid service, which is why it?s 2 stars and not 1. The biggest problem is the quantity. My wife ordered the scallops and bacon wrapped shrimpwhich looked like someone ate half of it or more and then dumped the remaining leftovers in a box for her to salvage?..and thiscost $22! We also paid $30 for 12 grilled oysters, but it was hard to actually find each oyster given they were all so small. Itlooked like someone just sneezed on a few oversized oyster shells and put them in a box. I understand oysters shrink whenthey?re grilled, but this isn?t my problem. Whoever is managing this location needs to ask their purchasing manager to buylarger oysters and use different oysters for grilling than they use for raw oysters. In one picture you?ll see the oyster nextto a lemon slice, illustrating how it was about the size of my thumbnail. All of this would be okay I guess if it didn?t costaround $100. I understand there?s extreme inflation and supply chain issues going on because of covid, but I?d rather pay ahigher price for more quantity rather than a higher price for less quantity. With the latter, I fee Read more

01/14/2022 3.5 stars We came here to start my birthday weekend. We haven't been here and thought it would be a nice spot to... have some seafood. We ordered the calamari (was free because I had a birthday coupon). It was seasoned perfectly and crispy. The aioli was delicious and light tasting letting the calamari flavor shine thru. We ordered the New England clam chowder andthe Jalapeño chowder. The jalapeño chowder was tasty. You could taste the jalapeños flavor without the heat. There wasnothing else in the soup, as far as vegetables or protein. The New England clam chowder was a disappoint, as it was supersalty. It has clams and no potatoe/vegetables. If there were some it disintegrated. I had a bite of the red beans and riceand it was salty as well. I don't like blackened too much so I didn't try the chicken, but husband said he enjoyed it and wasspicy and flavorful. I had the fish n chips. It was good and had a light seasoning of salt. French fries were crispy andlightly salted. The hush puppies were tasty and all gone. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Even though therewere epic fails on some food, we would come back and give them another try. Madison was our server and she was very nice andgave us great service. Read more

Oyster nachos are such a surprise. I don't like oyster but these are good. My favorites are the honey Chipotle Shrimp tacos and... seraphine tacos. They go so well with a dos equis or a coke. Read more
