One of the best sandwiches I've ever had and the cheese curds are divine. Great location, atmosphere is excellent.
Great food, & service. The weather was great also, we ate outside.
Stopped by for some of their amazing wings and onion rings. We ordered dinner before we even ordered drinks. The bar owner was... ?cooking? when we walked in with 9 other people in the bar. Four of which were at a table finishing their dinner and three ofwhich left before we put our order in. The boyfriend and I were the only ones left in the bar that ordered food by the time weput our order in. The other two individuals were just drinking. We waited 5 minutes for our food and ordered another drink and ashot each when a group of 5 young men walked in. The bar owner then came out from the kitchen and was assisting them for about10 mins and then proceeded to flirt with them and demand ?hugs? before they left. She then went outside and came back in afteranother 10 minutes and said ?oh, there?s a ticket here?. At which my boyfriend told the bartender ?if that?s for our onion ringsand wings, cancel our order?. The bar owner then offered to pay for our food but after waiting 30+ mins for our order to beacknowledged, let alone started, we declined. The bartender apologized profusely, as she made multiple comments about our ordersitting there. The bar owner then called offered to pay for our drinks. We left to eat elsewhere. Great bar, with very good food and even a late night menu that's great. The staff are great and friendly, really a wonderful... spot in the Northwoods. They have live music on Sundays I believe and right on the lake. You're missing out if you don't stop bythe Birchwood. Read more
