Reviews for Cazuelas Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in Reynoldsburg, OH
I used to frequent this place with a dear friend several years ago and loved it. The food was great with a cool, low-key bar... atmosphere, but I left feeling as though our server should?ve been more clear about the options do I could?ve avoided an over$100 bill for THREE people. We ordered queso and guacamole for an appetizer to go along with the chips and salsa. She insistedthat the regular size was very, very small, and that we likely needed the large size. We didn?t even eat half of either, andthey were $8 each. Another one of us asked for a small side of the birria consommé (because their birria dish didn?t come withit for some reason), and we were charged $6 for a tiny bowl. The menu didn?t state that my dish came with rice and beans, yetthe server didn?t say a word when I ordered a side of rice, and charged me $6 for it. I didn?t even touch it, of course. Wewaited for refills too long a few times, and we couldn?t get the server to come back to get extra napkins. In general, the foodwas good. The birria was pretty good, but I?ve had better. It lacked some flavor I?m used to. Their salsa is overwhelmingly fullof cumin, which is just a personal preference I don?t care for. All in all, I would return if I felt the price was fair, but Idon?t. The food was good, but not $100 good for three people. Read more
Great location. Restaurant a little dirty. Our table was clean. Seats had some food on them. Floor was sticky. Friendly staff.... Service overall was descent. Food for me was below average. Fried chicken for the kids were overcooked, burnt. My steak wasovercooked, dried. Rice was hard. Prices on the higher end. Haven?t paid $20 for carne asada until here. Read more
Wow! Absolutely amazing from the service to the food. Going to have to make the 30 minute drive when the Mexican cravings hit.... Salsa, queso, Al pastor, El Tapatio, hot sauce- everything was a 10/10. Will be back! Read more
This is a nice restaurant to grab a drink! The staff is really nice and the decor is super fun. I went on a Thursday and got the... $4 Mezcal Shots. They have great daily drink specials so you should check them out. The bartender is great too! Read more
The Lime Margarita was relaxing ????. Food was "ok" the Tacos ???? do not taste like Mexican style tacos. (the flavor isn't... seasoned with Mexican flavors) the sour cream is the basic sour cream you can buy in Krogers. The service was "good" consideringthat they only had 1 waitress who was serving and bartending (She did well). This location seems a little ran down due to theage of the building. ???? Overall, experience was "not bad" I won't be back ???? Read more
To start our vacation we decided to make a night of it and stop to a local Mexican restaurant. We ordered plenty to try out and... enjoyed it all. There was a Taco that was pretty dry but overall everything was pretty good. They were out of mint andgrapefruit which impacted the Cazuela "The Specialty Of The House". Chimichanga Supremas and tacos were the hit! The fries werea delicious appetizer. The servers were polite and attentive. Read more

I ordered a chicken taco with tortilla soup and my husband ordered pollo tresquesos. ???? My soup came out first and it was tasty but a little too salty for my liking. ???? Lew said his meal tastedauthentic and was good. ???????? We ate like three bowls of chips and salsa. ???? The salsa was great. Overall, the experiencewas good. We will likely come here again in the future. Read more
