Mixed results here. Brisket has always been pretty good here in my experience. Not the best experiences with the ribs including... an order dry and overcooked to the point of quite literally being inedible. Do not like their baked beans, potato salad isfine, dirty rice is really good, collards have always been cooked fine but they don't add much flavor to them. Read more
Went there yesterday for my first time and had a horrible experience. The BBQ sauce that came on the Brisket was gross. The Mac... and cheese was extremely dry & cold. The coleslaw? welp it?s pretty hard to miss up coleslaw. The aftermath of it you don?t wantto know. Let?s just say I am currently food poisoned. I would advice anybody who?s looking for a good BBQ spot to go to MissionBBQ. They have always been consistent and I apologize to them for cheating on them yesterday and coming to this dump. Super disappointed with our first visit to Willards. I got the brisket platter with two sides, and my partner got the 2 meat... platter (ribs and brisket) with two sides. We love bbq and were excited to try a place close to home with solid ratings. Thebrisket was not edible. Its as if it was smoked with pine wood (I?m not kidding) -or - dosed in fake liquid smoke. The flavorwas so off-putting that I couldn?t make it through a single piece. As for the sides - the coleslaw is not made in-house, thebeans either. The mac and cheese was another sad attempt, noodles over cooked and overall flavorless. The ribs and cornbreadget 3/5 stars. Both were just OK. I wouldn?t recommend this spot if you?ve had even decent bbq in the past. Perhaps it was afluke but we don?t care to risk another 1 star experience and a total waste of food. Read more
We ordered online this past Sunday and the food was ready when we got there, even though we were a little early. We ordered... pulled pork, pulled chicken, a dz buns, Mac & cheese, green beans, collard greens and a few pieces of cornbread. Overall thefood was good. The green beans have a vinegar tang to them, the collards have a kick, for us; the meats needed the sauces we hadchosen. We would not get the mac & cheese again. Note: Some of the prices on the menu did not match their current pricesalthough the menu says it was recently updated. And the buns they give you are slider size, not full size so we ended up buyingmore buns from the grocery store. Read more

We are wholly impressed with this restaurant and their food! We wanted some late-night bbq and had heard great things about... Willard?s. At 7:58 last night, I called them asking if they?ll take our order, and they let us in just in time for closing at 8.We ordered the bbq meal for four, and even though they didn?t have ribs prepared (part of the meal), the head chef came over,said he would make it fresh for us, and also thanked US for waiting. As someone who?s worked in the food industry before, I wasshocked that they would go out of their way to cook us food when they were officially closed! They also offered us extra cornbread and Mac and cheese as extra because it was the end of the day. Win! There were 4 people on staff, one helping us at thetill and two others helping the chef out in the kitchen/with clean-up. All were very friendly; again, I know we were holdingthem up from closing the store for the day, so was expecting them to be hurrying us out the door. When we got home, we werestoked at the selection before us. The dinner for four fed five people and we have ample leftovers. Literally everything wasgood: we received the jerk chicken, bbq ribs and brisket. The green beans were nice and tart to cut through the heavier flavors,and the meal came with pickles and three types of sauces.
