Have to give 2 stars as the staff is pleasant and the breakfast food was good. Why only 2?. Brought my team in for a few... evening cocktails the night before and all mixed drink were awful? to the point they could not be consumed. The breakfastbuffet food was fantastic however the preparation was not acceptable. There were no spoons, no bowls for the oatmeal And nosyrup for the pancakes or French toast. I had to ask for each?. Again, staff were all very pleasant. Coffee grinds??? Read more

As soon as we were seated, the homemade pickles were placed on our table and disappeared before we placed our order they were... soooo good. We tried the calamari was good, a bit oily but still good. The capital burger was outstanding. So unique and juicyand flavorful. The gouda fries were the perfect addition to this yummy meal. The service was top notch too, Kyle was attentiveand super nice. The whole experience was wonderful. Read more

New burger restaurants are popping up everywhere. Capital Burger, however, still rises to the top of my very short list of... places where I will eat a burger. The menu size is just right, enough options to be interesting but not so many that they areall done poorly. The staff is friendly and service is fairly prompt. Our server, Emily was excellent and attentive, despitethe limited staff. Definitely recommend. Read more

Came here for the night snacks. Food here is great! Especially for the spicy wings. The pepper is good as well, kind of not... spicy at all. I took the food upstairs to the room and watched baseball. I really like the taste. Feel so good with a coke! Read more

Was a big fan of the DC location so it was nice to see one closer to home. What is unique about this place is the pickles they... give you as a starter. I've never been anywhere that gives pickles, usually bread. I had the truffle burger in DC and it washonestly among the best burgers I have ever had. But at this location I started off with the lobster bisque which was great, hada nice amount of lobster which honestly wasn't expected. It could have been a bit more warmed up though. For my meal I had thelobster roll and my goodness it was delicious. Worth every bit of the $25. I had paired it with the parmesan truffle fries...sogood! As for the drink The Pursuit of Happiness was tasty. Could really taste the strawberry. Gave me just the right buzz. Allin all its certainly a worthwhile spot for a nice occasion or date. Highly recommend. Read more

We had good service and a nice waiter but the food is a bit overpriced for the quality. The fried chicken sandwich is a but... underwhelming and the cheese with the pretzel is so chunky you can?t really dip it easily. The fries were extra hot which wasgood! Overall, it was a decent lunch but the place could really use an update. The knives on our table were so scratched offthey looked so old and used and the wood table was pretty chipped too. The little things should still matter. Read more

First Time here at this burger "joint" and I am impressed with the upscale feel of this restaurant! Their Gouda Cheese Fries... were awesome and their Capital Burger was even better! Their gluten free options are also awesome and convenient for those folksthat have complications with gluten. I am very pleased with how we were treated and served at this place so we're definitelycoming back. Read more

We love The Capital Burger and have been at least three times. I would have given them a 4/5, but our recent experience has... left us sorely disappointed. We ordered the Gouda Cheese fries, which were fantastic, hot, fresh, perfectly cheesy... And twoburgers. Both burgers were ordered Medium, both were delivered Well Done. One of the burgers was missing the added crispyonions, and had a very small amount of the tomato jam listed as one of three key ingredients of that particular burger. When wewere a couple bites into the burgers, our waiter asked how our food was. We showed him how overcooked and dry our burgers were, and he politely apologized, but did not over any solution. When we had a couple bites left but otherwise were clearly doneeating, he offered a box, but we again emphasized that the burgers were dry and overcooked, so we didnt intend on finishingthem. At that time, the waiter kindly apologized again, and this time offered us a free dessert to go. We accepted the free $5dessert, but otherwise left sorely disappointed with our two $17 burgers. We don't like to make a scene and bring in a manager, and frankly, for a restaurant as nice and expensive as The Capital Burger, we shouldn't have to. Hopefully this review promptssome positive change, and we will have a better experience next time. Read more
