We ordered ahead for curbside pickup and got the Margherita DOC and the pepperoni pizzas. The pizzas were very good. The crust... was thin and tasty, the sauce was light, and the cheese was very good. The pepperoni was a little greasy but not bad. Muchpreferred over the typical options. Went there based on quite a few recommendations that were made that this was the best pizza place in the Reston Herndon area.... There is quite a bit of space to sit outside and ample space for parking. Inside seating was all right. We went there on a daywhen it was not that busy and ordered they are popular Margherita pizza and a custom pizza. We also ordered some drinks alongwith it. The staff was hearing red hats and that was cool. It was a little bit strange that you had to go to the counter toorder food after getting seated. The staff somehow forgot to get us the drinks ahead of the pizza and had to be reminded to getthem. The pizzas actually came fairly quickly and are definitely thin crusted. Interestingly enough I felt the margarita pizzawas not really warm. Pizzas were all right, but I really was expecting a better taste and it was a let down from thatperspective. Absolutely Authentic Naples Pizza. All the way to the wood fire pizza ovens with bricks made from Mt. Vesuvius! I lived in Italy... for several years and this us the real deal. Highly recommend and I am very much a repeat customer. And I travel over 45minutes just for this pizza! Staff are friendly and the restaurant is very clean. The price is reasonable and worth evey penny! Read more
Legit Neapolitan pizza with crust and chewiness that is out of this world. Ordered a prosciutto with arugula and it was inhaled... very quickly. If you are not too hungry then one pizza can be shared with another not too hungry person. If you are hungry thenit is sized for one hungry person. The pizza taste was good, the appetizers were fabulous. Customer service was bad, you just have to pay for your order first and... then they take your order after that we didn't see the waiters around our table again to ask us anything. We went to look forthe condiments personally that were on a table near the entrance because nobody offered us. As we left, no one looked at us tosay thank you or see you later even though the place looked empty. Read more
We went on a Sunday night. It was pretty much chaos. I had to go ask to see if our pizza had been started after 15 minutes. It... hadn't. The bartender was great. He was on time and helpful. We ordered the Mimosa pizza. Great crust and a unique combinationof flavors on this pizza. The corn was fresh, crispy, and perfectly roasted. Read more
My family and I have been ordering drive up take out from here every week for over a year. However, the past 5 weeks the pizza... has not only not been ready on time, 5 minutes late, or even 10 minutes late. It has been 15 to 20 minutes late, at one point 1hour late (!) for 5 weeks straight. I also have had to take my small children out of the car to go in and get it since they aretoo busy.
