Reviews for Bonchon Reston in Reston, VA
I love the ginger and soy wings.they are by far my favorite of ANY wing restaurant. I also want to call out the manager on duty... on 11/3/2022. We ordered a delivery order and DoorDash pickup up the wrong order. Even though this was DoorDash's fault, themanager personally brought our order to us. Problems happen at every organization, but it's how you respond that makes adifference. In this case he couldn't not have done a better job. Read more
I cannot begin to explain how overly crunchy and dried out the chicken was. The lettuce and rice were fair. Pot stickers were... OK. The inside of the restaurant was very clean, and staff was very nice. Overall I would NOT recommend, ESPECIALLY for theprice. Paid $40 for a meal for two and ended up throwing most of it out and ordering pizza instead. Read more
I ordered the japchae, and it was legit and delicious! The noodles were thicker than I'd expect, so probably not the gluten-free... glass (thinner) noodles you'd normally get in Korea, but it was pleasant and easy to eat nonetheless. Could have had more depth(sweetness was the most pronounced flavor), but the textures were great and the portions even greater. Almost more than I wantedactually, but great for the price! Satisfied my longing for authentic japchae. I ate in the restaurant, but they still gave mea plastic container and bag. I'd have loved to eat with real dishes, but I understand they probably don't want to deal withdishes. Maybe paper dishes without the bag next time? Still a clean and peaceful setting. Decent Korean radio music going in ittoo. Read more
We went there tonight for takeout. We got the family order with wings and drumsticks, the chicken was obviously refried or... reheated as the crispy coating was way to dark and the chicken was very dry inside. Very bad. If you want good Bon Chon go tothe one in Centreville. They make the wings fresh to order. Read more
When the chicken is not over-fried then it is approaching five star status. However, on a few occasions have gotten drumsticks... which were a little dried out. Overall their fried chicken is pretty darn good though. So crispy it still makes a noise after anight in the refrigerator. Their fries are likely their best kept secret. If you are looking for deep fried franchise feelingsthen Bon Chon is a solid bet. I actually find their fried food travels better than most places. Beware the spicy sauce optionthough as someone with an affinity for spice I was rather surprised by its intensity. Read more
So so so expansive. Really beside the fried chicken none of their food is good or tasty. Too much rice for a $19 dish.
The two times I have been here the people working in the front were very friendly. However, the food is awful. I don?t... understand why they don?t season the chicken when you order it plain. After a lackluster experience on my first visit, Idecided to give it another chance. On both occasions my food did not taste fresh. The fries were hard and stuck together likethey had been sitting out for a while. The chicken was dry and bland. For the price you would think the food would at least begood. I could get better chicken from Popeyes for half the cost. The food was actually worst on the second visit and I?mhoping I don?t get sick. Don?t waste your money. I wish I could get a refund. Only takeout fries that are still crispy when you get home. We've liked everything we've tried there.
