My niece who is in town visiting from B.C.asked me if I could take her to go and get a Beaver Tail because she remembers how... much she liked them when she was in Montreal for a soccer tournament several years ago. So I took her and my mom who has neverhad one, to the Repentigny location today 04/03/22 at around 14h30. I told my mom that we should share one as neither one of ushave a big appetite, and I could never eat more than ? to ½ of one in the past. My niece ordered Skor, and my mom and I orderedCookies and cream to share. When we received our order, I was shocked to see how small it was! I remember Beaver tails beingnice and thick and fluffy, and they were golden brown, and really big. I don't know if they changed the recipe over the years,but this was not at all what it used to be. It was a really pale colour, and it was just a little bit thicker than a crepe, itwasn't fluffy at all., and it definitely wasn't big enough to share. The toppings were good, but the dough was horrible. I don'tknow if all Beaver Tail restaurants are the same, or if it was just the person who made it today, but none of us were at allimpressed.
