First I'll start with this, there's no pork bacon in the seafood chowder. That's a plus! It's extra thick and seasoned but not... salty. The fish were a big hit at our table. They give big portions too! Read more
The food was UHMAZIMG?? Lewis the owner personally came out and talked to me and we took. Picture together and all! He was SO... NICE! The entire staff is AWESOME! Ms Sharon was also very very nice! The reason I'm so thrilled when I got there I noticed some chicken coming up so I asked what was that it was spicy white meat .... Usually get a wing & roll this day I got 2 wings & 2 rolls but they put an extra one in for me and it was the best tasted like1984, on 23td across from Garfield High School . The service is definitely 5 star. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I got the 2lb chicken tenders. 1lb regular, 1lb... spicy. My taste buds were let down. Don't get me wrong, I have been going to Ezell's for decades and love my usual fried gizzards, liver, and okra. I went to the... Renton location today and sorry to say but my order was garbage. I ordered a pound of each, all spicy and was very disappointed.You can tell the oil hasn't been changed for a long time. The food was extra oily, dark, and bitter. The batter was thicker thanusual and the liver was extra hard all throughout. I must say.. I won't be going to this location again. Read more
I tried Ezell's at a different location a couple years ago. Back then I thought it was mediocre. I was willing to try it again... so I came to this location while in town. I just can't! I had to return and ask for a refund. The chicken breast looks nodifferent from the wings size wise, I don't think that's a good thing. It just does not look appetizing. I gave it two starsbecause the manager was understanding. I didn't give a hard time and neither did he. The staff was really nice I just couldn'tget past how the chicken looked. That and it was not fresh. The only thing hot was the french fries. I'll pass permanently. Read more
