got myself a pound of half/half tender. Tenders were well cooked and rolls were very fluffly and tasty.
I don?t like leaving low reviews, but when things go corporate, there tends to be a lack of service on the back end so after no... response to my email, I feel called to share here. I am bummed, used to love the original Ezell?s and was excited to pick someup to enjoy again for a family party. Unfortunately, this order was disappointing and embarrassing. For starters, I asked thekind young fellows taking orders which side is better between the mac & cheese and potato salad. One said mac & cheese the othersaid potato salad. Then, the one who said mac & cheese admitted he hadn?t even tried it yet, but it just ?looked better? thanthe potato salad. 2 red flags already. Looks better? Working there and hasn?t tried it yet? Strange. Maybe he is gluten free, Ididn?t ask. So, I let my kiddos decide and we went with mac & cheese. I ordered 1 lb of original tenders ($18.79/lb) and 3jumbo mac & cheese ($7.29ea). They rang it up as a 1lb combo which includes 2 regular (8oz) sides ($22.79) + 2 jumbo sides($7.29ea) which knocked off a few bucks. Btw, the word ?Jumbo? is very misleading. It?s a 16 oz round plastic container, nothingJumbo about it. Order came out quickly. Much appreciated. 2 stars for the good service. Chicken tenders were small and tender,but bland, does original mean no seasoning? I did like that they were lightly breaded. Rolls were as expected, warm and soft.But the mac & cheese was the stand out disappointer. Dry and small noodles, tasted sweet and old, like it was FREEZER BURNT.Everyone who ate some, even the kids, would not finish it. We had to dump it. Never thought I would say this, because it wouldbe an absolute last resort if nothing else is available, but I would have actually enjoyed Safeway?s chicken and mac & cheesemore. I was supremely unimpressed. I got mixed (spicy & classic) tenders, fries, mac & cheese, coleslaw and rolls. Both types of... tenders were flavorless. The fries were dry and unseasoned. The mac & cheese was bland at best. And the coleslaw was TOOmayonnaisey. The rolls were just ok. In short, I don't see any reason to return. Read more
Food is always ready pretty fast and you'd think maybe they're cutting corners and it won't be that good. After eating here a... good couple of times, I can say with 100% confidence this one word. YUM. My love for ezell's is simple and pure. Read more

My first time here. We ordered dinner, and I had the half pound chicken strips, and she had the two piece meal. I enjoyed... the strips, but she prefered Popeye's flavor. I think it's just a personal preference on what you prefer. I would go backagain. Read more
I got the spicy chicken strip combo, it comes with a roll and your choice of fries, mashed potatoes, or any of their other... sides. Their fries were fantastic and the roll was light and airy. Great place! Read more
