I saw this place mentioned in an article reviewing Albany area restaurants. I'm always down for some great Korean food so I... ordered the bulgogi bowl over rice with Kimchi. Everything was perfect. The meat tender, moist and flavorful over perfect rice.Just the right amount of salad, everything fresh and lovely kimchi as well. The lady at the counter was so sweet and pleasant. I absolutely love their bulgogi it is so flavorful, their chicken is always perfectly panko crispy and I love how it's a thin... cut. They have the BEST kimchi! I love their drunken eggs and marinated avocado&tomato mix. I love how they are always makingdaily specials that are always creative and tasty!!! Their corn dog is surprisingly awesome and totally unique to what you wouldexpect of a corn dog. What?s great is that their food is CONSISTENTLY great! It?s always up to the same standard of quality andflavor, they never have an off-day. I love how they have a big assortment of korean drinks and yummy stuff in their fridge, andlots of korean snacks in store. DOWNSIDES, their Kimbap has excellent texture, but I wish they provided a dipping sauce to helpwith the flavor as it's really plain, doesn't have much meat to carry the flavor, and the seaweed puts an off-putting smell onyour palate every time you're about to take a bite (not that their seaweed is bad, that?s just the nature of seaweed ingeneral). The corn that comes in the Grand SOE Rice Bowl as a side has a great cook/texture but desperately needs some seasoningor flavor of some sort, like at least put some salt on it for goodness sake. Their Iced K Coffee is great coffee but NOT sweetand creamy at all like the menu describes. They have merchandise, too!
