It was pretty good. It was my first time going and the food was delicious. Service was a little spotty. We sat at the bar. I... wasn't impressed with caliber of service at all. But I had good company, good food. Empty glass most of the time. We prob wouldhave stayed longer if the bartender was more engaged and gave better service. It was man, taller guy. He just didn't check onus much and he seemed distracted when we were ordering. I had to repeat myself a couple times. He was looking around instead oflistening. And he gave the impression he was wanting me to hurrying along ordering. I mentioned it was my first visit. But hewasn't interested. I mean he wasn't terrible. Just less and average. Read more

Beer was good. The cotton candy one was unique and the flavors came through nicely. The red licorice was good but hardly any... flavor came through. The issue was your bartender. Her greeting when we walked in showed she didn't want to be there. Shewas slow and on her phone most of the time. Bartenders make a difference at a bar/brewery. It was Sunday October 2nd around3pm. Murals + Fenwick make Rensselaer a winner! We went there to check out the murals on a weekend. This place was such a bonus find!... The staff was cheerful and knowledgeable about their food and beverage choices, and local events. Our party tried the burger,grilled cheese sandwich and summer salad. All solid choices. The pretzel appetizer with dips was another surprisingly deliciousitem on the menu. They let you sit there and relax outdoors for as long as you like---such a delightful ambience. Read more

Fantastic, Danny our server did a great job and even got us a few samples of the in house brews. Had a question what the Beer... Foam Oysters consist of and the actual chef came to the table to describe them and ended up offering to bring one as asample. Fantastic place and we will be back. Read more
