This is a restaurant in the Grand Sierra Resort. We were here for a conference and dined on a Sunday night. The place was clean... and not crowded. The menu had a nice variety of options and the food was pretty good. We were waited on by Wes. This guy wasfantastic. He was constantly on top of everything from chips to drinks to getting everyone's order right to refills. You nameit, Wes had it handled. I ordered room service. My $6 side of guacamole was very small although it was good. The salsa was also tasty. I ordered chicken... fajitas and they were very disappointing. The chicken had no seasoning and was just charred dry chicken. They didn?t even usesalt it pepper. There was also no seasoning in the vegetables. Refried beans were extremely salty. The chips were ok. Overallthe food was average. I wish the chicken was seasoned but it was at least edible. Read more
Despite the craziness of a convention going on, and the long wait time, I was nicely greeted, seated and served quickly. Food... was good as well, and the dessert the server recommended me (the pineapple flan) was delicious too! Read more
So disappointed in the food! We ate here last November and we were very pleased.The fish tacos were so great! So much food we... all had leftovers.Tonight we couldn?t believe how different the experience was. Charge for chip refills at a Mexican restaurant?The $16 margaritas were weak and served in water glasses filled with ice! Chicken tacos were small with hardly any meat and thebeans and rice were cold and dry. The fish tacos weren?t the same at all! Small portion and also served with cold dry beans andrice. I don't get negative reviews... room service for $31 for combination platter, it was good... i only gave 5 starts to help... out... true Rating would be 4 stars... awesome chips and salsa, good guacamole, good meat, good sides... Reason for visiting: dinner while staying at the Grand Sierra Resort Date/time of visit: Monday night, ~7:00 PM Parking: valet,... which was free. There's also self parking in case you want to get in and out as you want. Valet was slow but friendly Partysize: 5 Environment/ambience: was fun, busy. TVs everywhere for the game; no sound though. Not too big of a place. We had towait ~15 minutes for a table. Smaller parties probably get in faster. Restaurant is inside the resort/casino. Service: Hostessat the front was friendly and tried to get us in faster. Our server was friendly and came around often; seems like a cooldude. Food: I split the combination fajita platter with my brother; we still didn't finish it, haha but we weren't that hungry.Came with shrimp, chicken, steak, fajita veggies, rice, and corn tortillas but flour tortillas were an option too. Also had astrawberry margarita. The fajita platter was great. The strawberry margarita was good but it's more like a dessert; it comeswith a spoon. The complimentary salsa and chips were good too. Thank you Karmen for a excellent service. Bringing the selection of mezcal to the table for us to choose was over the top cool.... I had the baja fried mahi taco and the braised short rib. Both were outstanding! My husband had the carne asada taco and elpastor. He ate his plate clean. Our drinks were the perfect pair for our dinner. Highly recommend. Read more
Delightful food, service and ambiance! I found this restaurant charming. The food is delicious! The prices were very... reasonable especially compared to the rest of the restaurants at the Grand Sierra resort. Our waitress was Aly She wasdelightful! She was very accommodating.
