Had a reservation as we figured Friday night would be busy. The table we were given was less than desirable as we were almost... directly in front of the kitchen window. Tablecloth was dirty. Table was wobbly. Our server Donald was great! Very attentive anddelightful. Bacon bread was delicious, our drinks were spot on. We ordered crab cakes and they were delicious as well. Our mealsfell short on temperature. I had the diver scallops and hubby had the short ribs. They were warm on the outside but as we dug inthey were best maybe room temp on the inside. Leads me to believe that they sat somewhere for a bit before being brought to usor were not fully cooked to an internal hot temp. Either way we were very disappointed. Read more

The food is exquisite. But the service is phenomenal! Our server, Clark was top notch and made great recommendations to suit us.... The manager, Jeff, boasted working 20+ years with some of the team. But the real magic lay behind the scenes watching Esteban, a36 year member of the serving team, transform crumb laden, dined at tables, to a fresh dining experience while keeping watersfilled, candles glowing and patrons pointed to the nearest restroom while being short staffed and never showing a sign. Service was friendly. Food was over priced. Started with their calamari which can only be described as “basic”. It lacked... any real flavor and the dipping sauces likely come from a giant plastic tub. Had their special halibut, which also lacked muchflavor and was over cooked. At $44 you would think you would get a decent piece of fish, but nope. Lobster bisque had oneflavor - salt. Tons and tons of salt, rendering impossible to eat. Fortunately this was taken off the bill and appreciated. Theone good thing was the bread. Sad, wanted a decent dinner and the best thing was the bread. I don’t know, maybe when I’m atthe point where I no longer have taste buds this place will seem good. Bottom line, you think you’re going to have a nicequality meal with the prices but you’re not. I’ve paid this amount for amazing food. I’ve paid less for better food. Thisplace wants to be special but is basic at best. Read more
