I used to love this place. During the day it?s usually still alright but at night service takes a dive. For one at night time... they only take cash, which is Weird. During the day I don?t have any trouble getting a water cup. At night, there isalways this dude wearing a beanie working the register. He never gives me a water cup and wants me to pay an extra $2.17. I?ve literally been standing there about to drop $4 on a cash tip when this kid tries to nickel and dime me for a smallstyrofoam cup. I end up not leaving a tip and going home to eat my food because I?m not paying for tap water. I used to havefond memories of getting adobada fries after a long night. Have gone To Roberto?s in Mission Beach San Diego so it was fun to discover that they also have locations in other areas In... These are not small tacos or burritos. The prices seem high but the portions are fairly big. I've kept coming when in the are... because of their lengua. It is one of the best if not the best lengua as far as softness. The salsas are not bad and the saladsbar is great with carrots that seems to be made in house in escabache. I haven't tri d many other itemsvesides burritos andtacos. You order at the counter and pick at the counter. They're open until late hrs of the night and are quite busy most ofthe time inside and drive thru. These restaurants have a long history. I would definitely recommend give them a try.
