Awesome little place serving up delicious food. I had both the Detroit Style and the thin, both were great. Loved the char on... the bottom of the thin. My review is based solely on the Neapolitan Margarita, I haven?t tried the Detroit style but people seem to like it. The pizza... I got was way overbaked with a very dry crust, absolutely no chew at all. It felt like eating crackers with sauce and cheese ontop. They also baked the basil!? One of the keys to a good Margarita is fresh basil on the pizza AFTER baking, otherwise it justturns to ash. Perhaps my experience was a one off as there are many good reviews, but I personally wouldn?t go back. Read more
To start, it is a two style pizza, place. They have a thin Neapolitan style thin crust, fluffy edge crust, and a good ratio of... cheese to sauce. I also liked the pizza tray it was delivered on; it raised the pizza so it didn't get soggy. Flavor was nice,and the pizza is a good size (BTW there is only one size, about 18-20"). The second is a square cut, Detroit style. A thick,yet light crust, with the sauce laid on top. If you like pizza for the sauce, then this is the way to go. I could really tastethe flavor and it did not disappoint. I ordered a single slice just to try it out. I liked it, but a full one would bebetter. It took about 10 minutes to get the fresh Neapolitan pie out of the oven, so I recommend just ordering a whole one. Iwasn't quite sure if it was a "bus your own table" style restaurant... Pizza dough was light and fluffy For the extra cost to add sausages it was not worth the cost for the teaspoon of sausages. Only... complaint was the dough was Very salty. Maybe it was the amount of cheese to make it crispy, but it was way too salty for theDetroit style. Read more
Loved the warm atmosphere; smells fantastic walking into the pizza parlor. I had the Spice Pie; the hot honey is super... delicious. The pizza was hot when we picked it up.
