Great reviews seemed like a good place to grab lunch. This was a one and done spot. All the plates customers had looked great... with saucy heaping portions. After I ordered, I was refunded without my tax paid on my soup, the gal said we are out of soup.Well kitchen was putting out soups and gal said my order doesn?t get soup but other orders do. They charge more for take outhowever the quality is very poor. I basically got plain hot noodles not saucy goodness like I had seen at the tables. Genuinely, if you think that there's a better sandwich shop in this whole state, you're dead wrong. This place has it all,... perfectly made sandwiches, amazing service and an environment that makes you feel like you're in somebody's nice house. Wow, just wow. Best eggplant parmesan I have ever eaten and my wife's cannelloni was also amazing. Don't let the appearance... mislead you. It's a small unassuming shop that calls itself a deli where there are no sides and no frills and you get your ownsilverware, but they serve some of the best Italian meals anywhere. Read more
I will forever be grateful to the family that owns Paolo's. My Stepfather was dying and for his final birthday dinner he wanted... lasagna (as a proud Italian American I wouldn't have expected less); however, this request came with less than 8 hours to plan. After being turned down a few times by other restaurants with the request to make our family an entire lasagna, the owner ofPaolo's kindly accepted and said that they would be honored to make it. When I picked up the meal; I was greeted with hugs fromthe family and they let me cry in their arms. This is a magical group of people who also cook delicious and thoughtful food.
