Absolutely amazing service and OUTSTANDING food. Such a great experience. Highly recommended! The cheese sauce for the pretzel... was superb and loved dipping my fries in it! Real thin sliced parmesan cheese on the garlic cheese fries. The bread pudding wasINCREDIBLE!!! Read more

Good food, good beers. Clean bathrooms too, although there were some cows staring at me while I peed so that was a little... creepy. Read more

Loved it! We decided to go for a non-fast-food lunch today and thought we'd try something new. We made the right choice. It has... a very local feel to it, a place tourists and locals would love. It's in an area with lots to see and do, like the Riverwalk andcasinos and hotels. There is a casual atmosphere, music playing at a level that drowns out details of other conversations butdoesn't overpower your own. A gentleman (owner I think?) was very friendly and accommodating. He seemed to take a lot of pridein the restaurant. There was a bit of a wait, as it was a Sunday afternoon. But the food was well worth the wait... I ate theItalian wrap which was wrapped in a green (spinach, I think) tortilla and garlic parmesan fries. To die for. Very flavorful. Mywife had the Black and Blue, a burger topped with blue cheese, and she enjoyed it well enough. Small quesadilla which was alsosandwiched between two of those same green tortillas for one child, chicken fingers for the other. Everything was a hit. Withtip, 2 adult meals, 2 children's meals, it was around $50. Nicely priced. The service was fair. Our server didn't seem toopleased, although she was never outright rude. Certainly not enough to knock a star off! We are looking forward to going back totry other items on the menu! Read more

Without a reservation on a Friday night in Downtown Reno, we found ourselves frantically searching Google reviews for a good... spot to eat & drink. Having been to the Art, Autos, and Wine show at the National Car Museum (automuseum.org) it was gettinglate. The Old Granite Eatery became our goal, even though it was 30 minutes until closing, we were greeted warmly by Kao andassured we still had plenty of time to order food. Exceptional Grilled Italian sandwich with battered fries. The large sandwichwas packed with goodness, and we took half home. Highly recommend the Beer Cheese appetizer served with a large soft saltedpretzel. Relaxed vibe, comfortable booth, perfect drinks, and great service from Kao. We'll definitely be back! Read more

What an adorable little place! Super homey feel. They have a really nice bar and their own little bakery where you can buy... loaves of bread and croissants and sweets! We went in there around 1pm and they were still serving brunch so the kids got toorder some pancakes. My boyfriend got the beer burger which he said was amazing and you can actually taste it in the sauce. Igot the Mediterranean wrap and the flavors were sooo good! I highly reccomend. Also if you are in the mood for dessert the breadpudding was probably the best dessert I've ever had in my life. Read more

Decided to try this place finally . Tried the duck burger and salmon with Brussels sprouts , both were very savory . Has a... rustic feel to it , loved the atmosphere . Price was about 15 to 20 per main dish, very reasonable . Would come here again . Read more
