So this was my first time going there after living in Reno 22 years! The waiter was fabulous and made me this cocktail that had... balsamic vinegar, strawberries (or raspberries--I can't remember) and black pepper. That was delicious so if you get anopportunity to try that one then go for it! Now to the food, which is the only problem I had is a bit of a different story. Ihad this chicken dish with mozzarella, prosciutto, and artichokes and it was pretty good. It's not something I would tellsomeone that they have to try, however it was pretty good. My problem though, was with the vegetables. They were supposed tobe "roasted" (a nice mix of broccoli, onions, carrots, etc.), which I happen to love, but in actuality they were burned. Now Ican handle the veggies being a little overcooked but this was beyond that AND whole cloves of garlic were roasted with it. Now Ilove garlic as much, if not more, than the next person however, I don't want to bite into big CLOVES of it and certainly notburned cloves! I think if they're offering a side of vegetables simply to have some vegetables to offer then perhaps that's whythey were presented this way. But if the intent was for the vegetables to be just as good as the entree then it was a hugefail. My suggestion would be to just forgo the roasted veggies and go for the Caesar salad upgrade. That was excellent!!! Overall, it was nice to finally try this restaurant as I have heard so many good things about it but it wouldn't be my firstchoice. The service and atmosphere is good but unfortunately the food was not the star of the evening. Read more
The food here is absolutely amazing, I celebrated my birthday dinner and have ate here at least 7 times. Their service is so... awful if you look under 22 I swear, every single time I go here they seem to get our order quick enough but we always get ourfood last! The people next to us who ordered after us would already be done eating and we still wouldn?t have our entrees oreven the soup that comes with it. I wish I knew why but it?s like this every single time!! Read more
We were there on Wednesday evening for my birthday. Had mentioned this when making my reservation weeks in advance. We arrived... early so hostess suggested we wait in the bar. We sat at an open table for 2. When it was time to go to our table, hostess satus in the upstairs room with a view of a semi truck in the parking lot. I asked if we could be seated in the lower room thatseemed more special. She said NO, those open tables were for people with reservations. I said we had reservations too! Sheasked if we could wait and we said yes. We went back to the table in the bar we sat at previously. The hostess came over andrudely told us we couldn't sit there. She sent us to a waiting area. Her negative attitude really set a bad tone for the restof the evening. Our waitress was nice but was so rushed she couldn't give us the time of day. I asked if she knew it was mybirthday and she said yes, but would have not acknowledged it if I hadn't brought it up. Food was very good but all the otherthing related to how we were treated ruined the evening for us. We won't be back. Read more
Be sure to call ahead for reservations. Enjoyed their minestrone and eggplant Parmigiano dish, melanzane. Very large portions,... took leftovers back to hotel. Husband had steak topped with onions, bell peppers, marinara, and cheese. Served with polenta andveggies. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We got the cheesecake w/ hot fudge. Pleasant atmosphere. Ask for a table by thewindows. Beautiful views. Read more

I'm hoping to be hired here!???? It's very similar to the place I worked on the San Mateo Coastside (south of SF) . My favorite... food is fine Italian food. I love eating it and serving it! The manager and his team are super nice and the guests are tried andtrue....made up of mostly regulars. From what I've heard the food is second to none! It doesn't get any better than that!!!Fingers crossed.. Read more
