Reviews for Insomnia Cookies in Reno, NV
This weird white girl as cashier who has terrible customer service talking to me like her balls dropped half a century ago and... bored, then proceeds to make my ice cream cup 3/5 full with 2/5 empty space bc screw morals. Wouldn't recommend unless you wantmediocre, half filled ice cream containers or mediocre cookies that are overpriced as well. You expect good sweets for thatprice and you get a grumpy, early crisis adult serving you for your overpriced treat that seems stale. Read more
We placed an order online for delivery for 6 cookies (4 different flavors). When our order was delivered, the driver called us... to let us know it was on our doorstep. I thanked him and opened it up. Only 1 cookie was the kind that we ordered. The other 5in the box we're random flavors - I'm assuming because they ran out of the kinds we ordered. If that was the case, they shouldhave called us to let us know that they were out and asked what kinds we would like instead and/or gave us the option to cancelfor a refund. Read more
Small building but big staff. Knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. Cookies were bomb. We bought 1 1/2 dozen not a bad cookie... in the bunch even the gluten free Vegan were delish. Next time ya find your self zombie like and wanting something sweet gocheck them out. Was a little hard to find even though it was right off N.virginia. no big huge fancy sign. Gems are hard tofind remember that. Hidden and tucked away always have the best finds. Read more

If I were her manager, and I saw this review, I would be sure to give her a raise, print this review out and frame it on the wall, and give her a promotion if that's what she desires. Typically, I truly enjoy insomnia cookies. My boyfriend and I do date night almost every Saturday and usually finish the night... at this establishment. HOWEVER, that will change after this evening. When looking at the menu while waiting in line I wasexcited to try their salted carmel cookie. This excitement was quickly squashed by the child that was at the cash registertaking my order. I have a SEVERE allergy to certain nuts. The salted carmel cookie said that it contains tree nuts. Some placeswill add this for ingredients like coconut, of which I am not allergic to. I ask the person "what tree nuts are in this cookie".She graciously goes to the back to check the ingredients for me. A child quickly emerges out of the depths of the back room witha hickey the size of her fist on her neck to say "it just says it contains tree nuts". I proceed to ask her if I can see theingredients list to check and see if any of my allergens are on the list. She quickly asks me "well how severe is your allergy".I proceed to tell her it is severe and if I could still see the ingredients list. She continues to fight me about the ways inwhich they contain nuts. I finally give up and succumb to ordering a ever-so-basic chocolate chunk cookie. I am a huge fan ofthe quality of insomnia cookies, however, please train your employees better on how to treat people with allergies and act withthe basic level of professionalism expected in a workplace. Sincerely, a woman who loves cookies. Read more
