First time at this restaurant. We are familiar with the general concept of a Mongolian grill but each area has a different take... method. If you are unfamiliar with a Mongolian grill, it is basically choose your proteins, veggies and sauces. Then it iscooked on a flat metal surface. Very similar to a stir fry. I was kind of surprised to see a various predetermined bowls suchas a Pad Thai. The wife went for a make your own type of bowl. The Pad Thai didn't make average. It was nothing like thepicture. Taste wise, it was way too salty and over sauced. The make your own bowl was quite good only because it was exactlywhat the wife wanted. So, stick to the make your own. As an advocate of fine dining and good food, this place is totally false advertised online. The price is on the menu were wrong,... their selection to build a bowl was very small and nasty almost walked out once I saw the assortment I was to choose from. Theservice was terrible and the whole restaurant was filthy go somewhere else. $80 for two people not including beverages just allyou can eat because I left a generous tip since I have been in the service industry so many years I felt bad for the staff. I ordered my food on the app. I entered my shellfish allergy in the box and it came home with shrimp in it! I took a bite before... I noticed and my tongue had started tingling. I called the restaurant and was told "the way it printed it looked like you wantedshellfish added." It's not my fault how it prints. I answered the question. Nobody says "add shellfish to my bowl." It wouldhave said shrimp or something specific. My phone number was attached to the order and should have been contacted if there wasconfusion. I'm lucky I wasn't hospitalized due to this incident. Husband brought me hear for the first time really friendly staff and great food going to bring the kids next time
I use to love this restaurant but the last couple years it keeps getting worse. Today my family and received are drinks. I?m a... very patient guy and understanding of all the obstacles as my mom was a waitress, cook and owner. So we waited for about tenminutes then we were informed we were being stalled to let the grill catch up. I figured at least the guy was honest. Anothercouple came in and sat next to us ordered there drinks figured they would have to wait as well but there waitress brought therebowls rite away. We waited another ten minutes then I told her what the other waiter told me and she ran to the cook whichtalked to the waiter. I could tell he was mad avoiding any drama I decided it was time for us to leave. On the way out the doorthe cook said Thankyou have a good day. Across the street my wife noticed a Huckleberries which took us in and took care of uswith a smile. Read more
First time here so asked the waiter lots of questions about their food selection and process. He was very nice and answered all... my questions. The whole staff was nice. The food was great. Ordered the Udon noodles with carne asada, shrimp, and carrots withMongolian sauce. The carne asada was very well seasoned! The hubby ordered rice noodles with crab. I'm always fascinated in trying new places with different types of food. This restaurant looks really great on website with... their menus but the food didn't turned out what we were expecting. I ordered a pick your own large bowl and boy the second Isaw the "large" bowl, it threw me off. Pretty pricey for a place with such bowl sizes. My stir-fried didn't meet myexpectations to the way it smells and tasted. The smell of the meat is like 3 days old and it has that metal rusty smell like anold wet sponge or cloth. They weren't stir throughly to mix all the ingredients. Some of the meat was grilled burnt. Beef wastough to chew as well. I've eaten places like this and it's 10 times better. Never seen a place like this before! You get to choose your bowl, everything thing that goes in it including rice, veggies, meat... and sauces and get it to the chef so that he can start grilling them, you control the quantity and the spice here! I got acustom made bowl and it tasted amazing, definitely going back to eat here! Read more
