Cute little taco place in downtown! Pros: Homemade GF tortillas (they were amazing), carnitas was really yummy, fun vibe, good... cocktails. Cons: Expensive, tacos are not that big (needed at least 4), they were out of a lot fo items which I found strangefor a Friday night at 5:30pm, unfortunately in a rough part of downtown reno so there?s a lot of homeless and transients youhear yelling (despite the courtyard being fenced in). My time at Estella was a great turn out. Company outing made truly bonding and fun with the wonderful energetic staff who were... VERY polite and attentive to our group. A wonderful place to have a perfect ?chat and chew? in a semi formal way just to relaxwith the wonderful outdoor seating. Now for the food portion. The BEST tacos I?ve had in northern Nevada. Personal favorite wasthe lobster taco very flavorful with a soft, firm and warm tortilla. Truly a WOW customer experience. Definitely will bereturning again with friends and suggesting this restaurant as much as I can. Read more

Visited Reno for a conference and found this place. The patio was wonderful -my only issue here was that there weren't more... seats and tables in the shade. There aren't too many seats inside so if it isn't cool out, you can't really choose to sitinside. Luckily, the sun was on its descent during our visit. We ordered salad, tacos, and chips/salsa/guac. The food was ofvery high quality. It was pricey but not overpriced for the quality. Read more

This place has the best coffee bar in town, and this is not something I say lightly. From their choice of roast to their... sweetener to the foam on top, every part of every drink is perfectly balanced. The food is just as high quality. Their take onHuevos Rancheros is my new favorite way to eat it, their green salad is the most balanced flavor I've ever had with herbs, andthey elevate the spice heat to a point of gentle physical involvement. Everything on offer here is beautifully curated, andthis place is a "must stop" for us whenever we're downtown. Read more

Food was delicious! Tacos were wonderful and the salsa flight is definitely worth getting. Tried a few different tacos and the... Al pastor was the fan favorite. Fun little gem on a stop through Reno. Read more

This place is a little tricky to find for the new visitor to Reno but they had easy parking, great food and great drinks. We... ordered the mushroom taco, al pastor, mariscos (fried fish) taco, and shrimp tostada to eat. They have an entire menu ofdifferent Mezcals. We had their "You love your neighbor" and "Dos Pollos" mixed Mezcal drinks. The Dos Pollos was veryrefreshing especially sitting in their patio at 9pm with it being 85 degrees. The You love your neighbor was more smoky andwould be good in cooler weather or just as a stand-alone drink. We ordered 4 more Dos Pollos because they were just thatgood! Let's get back to the tacos... This is not a traditional taco place, so don't go there looking for traditional or cheapstreet tacos. This place reminded us of Tulum, MX because of vibe, drinks and food. These are non-traditional tacos and theyare really good!!! Our favorite was the Smoked mushroom taco and then the Al Pastor. These are a must order if you visitEstella. The Smoked Mushroom taco is one of the best tacos I've ever had!!!! The Shrimp tostada was good but didn't compare tothe shrimp tostadas we had in Tulum or the shrimp tostadas that my wife makes at home. The fish taco was also good but nothingspecial compared to the Mushroom or Al Pastor flavors. We went back in to order more Smoked Mushroom and Al Pastor tacos butthey closed the kitchen 15 minutes before closing without giving us a last call. Needless to say, I was sad. We had wanted totry the carnitas taco but they were sold out. We had wanted to try the Horchata pie but they were sold out, so we settled forthe Chile Mango pie which was just okay. We'll definitely visit Estellas again when we're back in Reno and make sure to orderSmoked Mushroom and Al Pastor tacos. We'll also try their carnitas taco. Read more
