Wow. It was advertised to me as ?greasy, drunk college kid food?, which can sometimes have an appeal, but I was not prepared for... the level of sub-mediocrity. Of course the thing most people will want to know about is the chicken. They?re not kidding whenthey refer to their tenders as ?Giant?, the tenders are truly huge. Disgustingly so, actually. As a person who has spent a lotof time working as a chef, I couldn?t not think about what they must be doing to chickens to be getting strips that large. Theconsistency suffered from the size as well. I came in hungry and had difficulty finishing them. As for the heat, when asked howmuch, I replied ?hot?there was practically no discernible heat. And the service???????????? There was one employee and noother walk-in customer. I was not informed that there were no pickles (1/4 of advertised constituent elements of the combo Iordered) until after I had already paid. The fries were straight up cold. Not lukewarm, cold. And so, I got a couple of piecesof barely edible chicken, cold fries, and a piece of dry toast for $13.50 (+ tip). Really bad use of my money, particularly insuch a restaurant rich environment as downtown Reno. I usually like to give a spot 2 chances, as even the best of spots canhave an off day/night, but it?s highly unlikely that I?ll be heading back to Crazy D?s. Read more

My only complaint was that the chicken didn't really have any flavor beyond "spicy". Be careful. Oh yeah, and the pre-frozen,... undercooked, soggy fries. Open late though... Read more

Would use a 4.5 star If we could use halves! Their chicken is quite tasty! Their scale for the "hotness" is a little strange.... Their mild -hot could all be described as rather mild. If you can handle something as "spicy" as tapatio, you can handle their"hot" level. However, it seems they decided to take a logarithmic approach when you jump to their highest spice level deemed"crazy hot". Here they use Carolina Reaper (among other peppers) powder. That's an insane leap. My one nitpicky thing withtheir sliders (which are the size of a standard hamburger) could be elevated by the use of a decent bun. From what I could tell, they are using a pretty cheap bun. If they used a brioche and pretzel bun, or at least offered them with an upcharge, I think itwould make a significant difference in the overall quality and taste of the sandwich. I still enjoyed the sandwich immensely, but, I think the bun thing is such a simple fix that would take it to the next level! I'll be back to get their Crazy Fries, and Crazy Mac n cheese. I've heard good things about those! Read more

I slightly tasted the potential. The tenders were hard, fries didn't have any seasoning, wish I knew to get another sauce cup to... help soften the chicken bark. I don't mind waiting for a potentially great product. I was trying not to go extremely critical. Read more

Ordered on their website went to pick it up and they could not find the order after dealing with that headache, observed one of... the employees park in the handicap parking spot in front of their very limited parking lot. While waiting for our order lookover and one of the employees has his hand up his shirt scratching his chest. Read more
