Do was very cute. Not sure if I really deem this a "Girls Night" location because it is for dinner more than anything. If you... have a large party call ahead for a booth otherwise the tables seem kind of small and you have to move them together to beclose. Be mindful you're paying for everything. EVEN THE WATER. #swear. We decided on the seafood tower which was $165 $$$$.It was a decent amount for the 3 of us. The oysters were a little gritty but still good. Wait staff was attentive and made surewe had everything we needed. Probably would go for actual date however seeing as I more intimate in my opinion. Read more

I took my friend for his birthday tonight. I had been there before once with a friend as a spur of the moment thing, and one... more time with my dad for Father's Day. Charlie Palmer's certainly brought their A game tonight. The entire staff was on pointfrom the person who gives you water and bread - Travis, to the wonderful people who come and stop by to help clear your table asyou go, Jacob who packed our orders to go, and of course our lovely server Mona. We started with cocktails I had the S5 whichwas positively delightful. It's like a muddled strawberry vodka-based drink served in a fancy Martini glass, my friend had thecorpse maker, which has a drop of absinthe. For appetizers we enjoyed the scallops, the shishito peppers, and oystersRockefeller. All three of these were a slice of heaven and completely divine. We did not know what to expect of the shishitopeppers but we were pleasantly surprised as they were very flavorful cooked to perfection and not too spicy to the mouth. Forour entree and sides we shared a 16 oz ribeye steak, 1 lb of king crab legs, baked potato, potatoes au gratin, creamed spinach, and mushroom medley. We requested the sake medium rare and it came spot on medium rare and melt in your mouth good. We had itwith the sauces chimichurri and creamy horseradish. For dessert we ordered the lemonmeyer cheesecake and because it was myfriend's birthday we were surprised with a little slice of birthday red velvet cake. Everything was truly exceptional flavorprofile wise. The only thing I probably would not order again is the creamed spinach. It's not terrible I just happen to preferthe one I make myself more. And there are so many delicious things to eat here why not choose something I find trulyexceptional. To cleanse our palettes we were each provided a piece of dark chocolate. It was so smooth and creamy anddecadent. This is definitely a pricier meal in Reno but well worth the money and regards to the quality of food and in regar Read more

Delicious!!!! My husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary here ;-). Our waiter was awesome!! The food was... exceptional. We had the aahi tuna tarte for an appetizer, I had the 16 oz rib eye steak with sides of macaroni and cheese andmushrooms. You have to order the Mac n cheese side! My husband has the Alaskan halibut. Everything was so tasty! Plan onspending around 200-300 but so worth it! Read more

Went here for an early Valentine's day dinner. Steak was decent but the sides were a little disappointing. Pretty small wine... selection too. Also I wish the restaurant was more detached from the casino because you can hear loud announcements and cheersevery once in awhile. Read more

Solid steakhouse. The prawn cocktail was a disappointment. 5 small shrimp was not worth the price, i suggest skip it. The ribeye... was cooked perfectly. I got lucky and there was hardly any fat on my piece. I added the chimichurri sauce, horrible choice. Itwas some sort of cream dressing. It well overpowered the steak. Broccoli and the Mac and cheese were a great pairing. The OldFashion was a great cocktail worth a second round because the Manhattan didn't have the "special" house spirit and they wantedme to add another kind for 2x-3x the price depending what I got. Overall: solid steak, great atmosphere, good service, skip theextras. Read more

We had our new year’s eve dinner here and I was pretty disappointed. Good: food was awesome, specifically the New York steak,... pureed potatoes and cheesecake. Not good: they served a warm french onion soup, not hot, taste was a tad bland; our waiter wasnot as attentive as expected for a fine-dining restaurant. He gave us the bill without asking if we wanted dessert. Hmmm…. Read more

So my friends and I went to a steakhouse in Reno the night before and were very disappointed with the food. We decided we... wanted to make it up by going to another steakhouse! The 4 of us decided to go to Charlie Palmer steakhouse located inside theGrand Sierra Resort hotel. A truly fantastic meal from start to finish! The initial break basket came out hot and no butterneeded. The Tomahawk and Ribeye steaks were both flavorful and cooked just right medium rare. King Crab legs came out steaminghot and just needed a dip of butter for a luxurious taste and bite! Sides were good as well. We had to wait over 45 minutesfor our food dues to the shortage of workers but we were very understanding. Hannah, our great server did a good job of takinggood care of us! All 4 of us left very satisfied! Read more
