Located just a couple of miles off the expressway in Remington, this is an excellent alternative to fast food. Had the pork... tenderloin and it was HUGE. Food was tasty and service was friendly. I always appreciate a restaurant which offers Red Goldketchup (yes, there is a difference)! Restaurant looks to be a local fave. I'm a truck driver that refuses to eat fast food. I always try to find a local restaurant to support. Often times I am treated... as an outsider and with the way most employees are anymore it ain't like eating out use to be. Not the case at this place. I hada great meal and everyone there was extremely friendly. I walked 1.8miles to get there but the owner made me accept a ride backto my truck by him personally. Don't let the quaint look of this little resturant fool you. The atmosphere is hometown at its best with pleasant, fast service... and food that will melt in your mouth! The ribeye steak and the chicken cheese steak sandwich (like a Philly cheese steaksandwich) were perfection on our plates. The food was made fresh and came hot, not the lukewarm heater lamp you get at mostplaces. If you're traveling on I65 and come across the Remington exit, take a short 2 mile jog out of your way to visit. It willbe worth your time and money! Read more
