Great restaurant !!! When other restaurants have lowered the quality of the food served and increased their prices, Taste of... Samarkand has kept its high quality at very reasonable prices. The staff are all wonderful personalities and exceptionallyprofessional in their demeanor. Special kudos for Zukra who creates a warm and friendly atmosphere and is always helpful.Quality and taste of food is exceptional. If you are seeking delicious food at great prices in an exotic setting, this is therestaurant for you. Read more

They don't care about their neighbors leaving their garbage cans in front of a residential building, all nite into the afternoon... hours stinking up the neighborhood making it hard for residents of the buildings to pass them as the stench of the cans areoverwhelming that the odor stays in the people's nose hairs, to top it off there is a dental office right where they placetheir garbage cans making it unsanitary for that dental office, n other restaurants on that strip ... We have spoken toresidents of the building as they have stated they complained to the restaurants management but those complaints seem to gounaddressed, we also tried to talk to the restaurants management but they claim they don't speak English.... Don't supportrestaurants that don't care about their adjoining neighbors..... SHAME ON THEM These pictures were taking on 3 differentdays. DO NOT SUPPORT A RESTAURANT THAT DOESN'T CARE OR SUPPORT THEIR NEIGHBORS ..... PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS OUT THERE ONWOODHAVEN BLVD THAT SUPPORT THEIR NEIGHBORS Read more

This place requires no introduction within the community, but I feel that more people should know about this restaurant! This is... not my first-time trying Uzbek cuisine but I?ve to say Taste of Samarkand blew me away in terms of their ambience, price and ofcourse the food. This was way better than Farida (ok food, crazy prices) imho. What?s even better was that they allowed someitems to be ordered in pieces (manti, bread, kebab skewers) in which was perfect for my case (party of 2) and we got to try avariety of dishes. Everything from the fruit punch to the dishes itself were amazing, my favorite was the Uzbek Manti and LambKebab. The bill came to $45 including 15% tips that was already included (apparently it was stated in the menu, but I overlookedit and paid additional tips, my bad) so a pro-tip for all you first timers ???? If you are hesitant to try other culture's food,I urge you to be brave and embrace different cuisine with an open heart as it might just be your go-to comfort food from thenon. Read more
