I had called to see if they had slush puppies prior to coming. They had two girls working the line. I must have stood outside... for 25 minutes with only a few of us in line. The person before me ordered a slush puppy but when they got to me, they said themachine didn't work anymore. I drove from the other side of the city all the way down there just for this purpose. When theysaid the machine was broken, they asked if I wanted my money back. I said well obviously, I'm not giving you $5 for nothing.Would not go back to this place at all. My family loves going to Dessart to get treats and they have such amazing variety and things you can't get anywhere else in the... city! I went there yesterday for a free birthday treat and I'm not even really a huge ice cream fan but they had a lavenderlemonade ice cream that was amazing! I was in Regina to visit my sister and we stopped in at Dessarts. The store has a whimsical look to it that is fitting of an ice... cream shop. They have many flavours to choose from which are a mix of delicious and ?interesting?? I believe there?s a ?DillPickle? flavoured one. The flavours are posted very close to the window where you order so if there?s not a line, it can feel alittle overwhelming to choose. A suggestion to the store might be to put another sign lower down or even a QR code where you canscan it and get a full list. I got a pistachio flavoured one and it was nice but could of been more pistachio flavoured (whatdo they even taste like though, right?). I would definitely return if I?m out that way again, and you know I?m getting the DillPickle flavour if it?s still available! Read more

Wonderful place for icecream! The icecreams are wonderful and there are lots of places around the shop (table seating or across... the street) to sit and enjoy. Must try from their 'spiced icecream' menu, London fog soft serve is heaven on earth! Staff isalso always so nice and put in the extra effort (like asking my 4 year old what colour of jellybean he wants on his icecream -things like that will keep us coming over and over) Thank you Dessart & staff, you're wonderful humans.
