POV: You are in Redwood City by chance for work and are also a devotee of Pizza, therefore you spend hours everyday researching... every Pizza place everywhere you are no matter how good or bad, with an open mind and in this instance... an open heart. PizzaMy Heart is an establishment I always had heard about, as there are many locations - none of which are in San Francisco! PizzaMy Heart does not have a San Francisco location, which is sad but acceptable and understandable because when you get a chance toplay the role of customer of Pizza My Heart for the first time thinking you'll have other chances only to realizes - they areactually limited... you gain appreciation for this company and want to see them succeed and furthermore wish you had purchasedone of their t-shirts as they are one of the only Pizza places I have been to since May 2022, which spans approximately 50 whoactually make their own t-shirts and sell them besides Escape from New York Pizza. One of these days, Pizza My Heart, we willmeet again and I will represent you by wearing your shirt when I am other places because you are truly a heartwarmingestablishment. At least this one is. The people here do now wear hair nets when preparing cooking or cutting the food. With workers with really curly hair I... expressed that if a hair was in my food I?d want my money back and let him know that if food safety were to come they?d takepoints for that but he just ignored me and continued to work with the food with his hair everywhere Read more
They were out of our favorite veggie pizza and we got some other "popular" slice. It was disappointing. The chicken walnut salad... was good but the walnuts had too much sugar on them. We are used to really enjoying the food here but this was not one of thosetimes. Read more
My daughter loves pizza my hart so everywhere we go we have to find a location and we've never been disappointed.
I don't know who has better ready made pizza slices than them. I've tried the chicken/bacon and the combo, both were great. I... also love the thin crunchy crust. Not the cheapest, but you know you're getting the best ingredients. Read more
I ordered a pizza online at 7pm with an estimate of 25 min; got there at 7:20pm and was told it would be ready in 20 min, and... that was fine. But we waited until 8, and finally someone asked us what we were waiting for; I said my name and were told "ohit's been ready for a while"... umm? ???? not even an "our bad". major oversight in my opinion. edit: at least the pizza lookstasty (and updating after eating it, the cloves of garlic were quite tasty on the Big Sur pizza). also the place seemed bustlingand fun. changed from 2 to 3 stars since the pizza was good, but still unhappy about unnecessary waiting and staff dropping theball with updating me. This isn?t my first time at this location. However, the service, or lack there of, could definitely use improvement. As I walked... in, kid at the counter, looked at me and another customer as if he was annoyed. This is lunchtime about 12:50 PM so it was notbusy. He called me when my food was ready and unlike the other customers, he didn?t offer me any peppers or Parmesan cheese. Iordered a slice of veggie pizza, which was fine. I also ordered a Greek salad. The salad was good, but the olives were extremelysalty. His complete demeanor was very dry and regardless of the establishment type, the customer service should have been moresatisfying. A simple smile goes a long way, but apparently his customer service skills need to be refreshed. As a Countyemployee who has colleagues that frequent the restaurants in the area, I?m not sure I can recommend this place because he didn?tmake any of the customers during my visit feel welcome or appreciated.
