The pizzas are good, although too many don't come with tomato sauce -- you'll want to watch out. Also, remember to order extra... thin crust, because the regular is too dense and chewy. The drinks are standard beer and wine options -- kind of low end, whichis weird given the higher end pizza prices. There are two desserts; neither is particularly exciting. The staff is friendly ifsometimes a bit under-staffed. However, the decor. "25 year old corporate cafeteria" best describes it. It's all laminate andsquare corners without actually rising up to modern design levels. And the ceiling feels like drop down sound panels -- justlike in a cubicle farm. You'll probably want to order takeout instead. Read more

Health/hygiene concerns!!! We went here a couple times but last week it was horrible. We ordered a regular pizza. We were pretty... hungry and ate pretty quickly. UNTIL we saw there was a dead fly in the pizza! The staff said sorry and wanted to give us a newpizza which we politely declined. Then they gave us a check of another party. Finally they gave the correct check. To theircredit, they did deduct the pizza. We also oversaw a person in the nearby table discovering something dirty (another dead fly?)under his pepper shaker and immediately put it away. It’s sad but this was probably our last time eating here because of theseserious health/hygiene concerns. Read more

One of the best simple pies. Thin charred crust. Fresh topping, rarely over-sauced. Lots of other dinner options too. Can't... go wrong. The margarita with sweet Italian sausage is our goto. Lemon wings are solid. Read more

This review it’s for the Redwood Shores location. Pizza was good here. Thin but generous slices. Salads were very generous... also. I noticed they have about 7 or 8 brick ???? ovens in here with a busy staff in the kitchen area. There is inside andoutside sitting areas. Ingredients were ok. My only observation was the waitresses and waiters are young and felt like they needa little more training or more experienced. I am not saying they did terrible because they didn’t they just need to describedishes from the menu a little more to help some customers decide. Our waitress was very attentive, super nice and worked hard topleased us, she didn’t make us feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. I will be back and enjoy a good pizza here. Read more

Legit pizza experience! We came there Sunday night and had no problems with the place to seat. Servers were very friendly (big... part of their stuff is Brazilian:) and our order came fast. I had kale and sausage small one and my husband One step beyond. Weboth were more than satisfied by the crust and the fillings of our pies. My pizza was perfect spice and pine nuts were aninteresting detail about it. Probably I’d add there olives and cherry tomatoes to make it even more exciting(: Overall cantell that Amichi is one of the places where I’d like to come back Read more

I had two totally different dine-in and takeout experiences at this Amici's. Dining in was a 5-star experience. Service was... great. Food was excellent. My favorite included the breadsticks, Linguine with (white) Clam Sauce, and Lemon Chicken Wings. TheOrecchiette was a bit spicy, but was delicious. The takeout experience was terrible, 1 star. The Lemon Chicken Wings werehalf-burnt. The Garlic Breadsticks had no garlic taste whatsoever, and was burnt as well. I expected some instructions onheating up the Half-baked pizza; and I looked for the instructions on all sides of the box but found none. The soup andmeatballs were just mediocre. The only thing I liked about the takeout is that there were safety seals on some of theboxes. Would recommend eating in only. Read more

Ordered the New York (basic cheese) with pepperoni and chicken Caesar salad. The pizza tasted like a "upgraded" pizza you would... buy at those make your own pizza places like Pizza Revolution or Piology but a bit larger. For a 15in pizza with slightly aboveaverage taste the $32 and change the cost is a bit excessive. The Caesar salad was ample enough to share for two and was servedwith just enough Parmesan cheese and great tasting croutons. A good value for $14. This place has a happy hour option. Thursdaysseen like a decent value. For $10 any pitcher of beer (although options where limited to only three). There was plenty ofseating options both inside and out. Tables inside have ample spacing and does not have that "crowding" feeling. The biggestdisappointment on my visit with the service. The salad came after our appetizer. The utensils came after our salad. The beercame after the utensils. I would say the capacity at the restaurant was 30% at the time we visited. Read more
