You have to place your order the moment you walk through the door. Looking at their menu made me feel like I was at a Asian... restaurant not a sea food restaurant. We took my family from out of town here for dinner before they headed back home to Florida and everyone enjoyed the food. Our... waitress was awesome, very nice and courteous!! We had such an amazing time at The Shrimp Lover! It is located right on the Redondo Beach pier. There are lots of windows with... beautiful ocean views. They brought out the crab legs and vegetables in a bag! You have to be ready to dig in and I wouldrecommend to wear your bib because it can get super messy. All of the food was tasty and delicious! Not sure why they have such a high rating. Went here with my mother because she loves ocean views. We ate around 1:30 (they... opened at 12 that day). I ordered chow mein because I don't eat seafood, my family ordered shrimp and also calamari. My noodleswere SO BAD, OBVIOUSLY they had been the same noodles from the night before. All the food came out in less than five minutes.Shrimp came in a bag and was OK, and the calamari was extremely tough and ALSO obviously left out from the night before. Shamewe spent over $100 for leftover food. Also, they charged us a $12 "service charge" (what the heck does that even mean)? And weHAD to pay in cash (and the ATM didn't even have enough cash in the machine). Overall, probably the worst experience ever.People were nice though! Read more
