Reviews for El Gringo Redondo in Redondo Beach, CA
Tacos are yummy nice! ???? The have good amount of meat fillings.
The staff are very kind, and the salads actually had more than just lettuce like most places.
The indoor dining is closed which I found disappointing considering most restaurants offer it. The food seemed overpriced, but... I decided to give it a try. I ordered the taco combo with 2 tacos, beans, and rice...no drink. Total before tip...$18. My tacoselections were asada and shredded chicken. The tacos were large, but the flavors were quite bland. I did not finish the asadataco because I simply lost interest. The rice was typical and the beans could have used a little salt. The chips and salsa weregood, and this was much appreciated. I'm glad to have finally tried it, but I can get better Mexican food at most diners aroundthe South Bay. Read more
Outdoor seating, and virus friendly, this place has great staff. The food is excellent. My specialty wet burrito was ginormous... and delicious. They're salsa is thick enough to stay on the chip with excellent flavor. The red sauce was flavorful withoutbeing overly spicy. Highly recommended. Read more
Great little spot for Mexican food in the south Bay. The burritos are big and food is tasty
This was hands down the best Mexican food we've had since we moved to the South Bay. It's in a very unassuming spot...so don't... let that stop you from sampling this great little jewel! Read more
Had the street tacos. They were good and full of meat. It was an appetizer but worked to fill me up. The service was great and... it was a nice casual atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Read more
One of the tacos was a mess, it was falling apart and the meat somehow was in between the two tortillas. Orange juice did not... taste fresh. And the green salsa was hot for some reason (like temperature wise).. Never seen anything like it. Bad experience. Read more
