Reviews for Pint & Pie Public House in Redmond, WA
It\'s called Pint and Pie, but stick with the pints and away from the pies. Beer is beer but the pies are pale imitations of... what they could have been. For $13, you will receive an approximately 4\" diameter pie, charred on the top. I ordered theburgundy beef pie, which tasted mostly of burgundy and contained little beef; it was mainly mushrooms with small pellets ofmeat. The salad was the better option on the plate.\nAlternatively, get the pretzel; it is excellent. The pretzel saved thisreview from being 2 stars. If they called themselves Pint and Pretzel and focused on that, it would be a significant upgrade. Read more
Great food, large space for hanging out, working, playing board games, and friendly service. We didn’t know this place was in... Redmond, but we saw the signs & had to stop in. Glad we did - really loved the Mac n cheese! Read more
I love the straightforward menu choices. Savory and sweet pies. Ales and pints.\n\nThe crispy, fresh, side salad to our turkey... pot pie was just the right amount and made for a delicious combo with the pie.\n\nThe pie came to us piping hot. I think it washeated via microwave. But that did not detract from the taste of the savory pie.\n\nThe sweet pie did not fare so sweet fromthe same treatment. The flavor of the spiced apple pie was very good. And the texture of the apple chunks in the pie waswonderful. But the crust was flat and a little chewy. No part of the crust was flaky, which was a bit of a let down. And for$9 a slice, I expected the pie to be a little more substantial.\n\nI would’ve given 3 stars, but added another star becausethe service was so cheerful and friendly. Should I be in the neighborhood again, I can see myself stopping by for anothersavory pie. Read more
We enjoyed the burgundy beef pie, Salad and corn dogs. Sign says they have live music on Thursdays so may come back sometime to... check that out. They were out of a lot of items on the menu so also would like to try again when they have the full menu. Theplace is very clean. Nice large restrooms. Very friendly service. Waitress took time to explain the menu items and was apleasure to interact with. Read more
Positives: the food we got tasted fine and the atmosphere/set up inside was nice and the trivia night they had going seemed like... fun.\n\nUnfortunately the rest was a huge disappointment. We ordered to go: the Mac and Cheese pies were fine but they wereserved with an arugula salad with no dressing. The Shepard\'s Pie (pictures below) was an... Upsetting presentation to say theleast.\n\nThe sweet pies were slices and small. Fork for scale--this was $9 for a piece of pie half the length of a fork.\n\nFor$13 a pie and $9 for a small slice of apple pie this was a seriously disappointing experience and meal.\n\nAdd in the fact theywere out of at least three items and we were told they have to \'update the menu\', we won\'t be coming back any time soon. Loving this new addition to Redmond! Great vibes, beer, and pies. We especially loved the hazy IPA and their selection. One of... the best I’ve tried in Washington. Service was great, Erin was very knowledgeable about the beer and treated us well.Definitely will be returning! Read more
First time trying this place out and I really enjoyed my time there tonight. The giant pretzel was a great way to start the... meal, really loved the chicken pot pie though. The pie was so flavorful, it smelled fantastic and homey. The whole atmosphere ofthis place was very cozy to me, and they had a musician tonight that played very delightful folk style music. I had a great timehere tonight, thanks everyone! Looking forward to trying the key lime pie when I finally have room in my tummy. I will be back! Read more
