Pretty generic, nothing special. Salsa was ok, margaritas were not good, the veggies in the California burrito were undercooked.
Not a bad spot for Mexican food in the area. Service wasn’t bad and our waiter was very nice. We started with the agave nachos... which had generous amounts of toppings. I got the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas and they were pretty good. I liked therice and beans. My partner got chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. Overall he liked the enchiladas and he thought that therice and beans were the among the better tasting ones in the area. We also got the brussel sprouts which were solid. We enjoyedthe cheese on them. For dessert we got churros and would definitely recommend them. Other members in our party got the chickenquesadilla, which he enjoyed very much. Excellent. If you're looking for a place that's got more than just the standard Mexican-american fare, this is a great place to... start(or end). I highly recommend the calamari, brussel sprouts, and the birria tacos. I'm not used to mashed potatoes being anoption for places like this, but they were effing delicious and not something to miss. The margaritas are well balanced andwould be perfect for someone wanting to break into tequila based beverages. Read more
The staff was very responsive and the food came out quick, without compromising flavor. I’ve never had anything like the spicy... shrimps appetizer — the smokiness of the shrimp dances very well with the spices and citrus juices it comes with. You cannever go wrong with the fajitas, and they let you replace the rice and beans for other options. My experience was very goodhere. Read more
We loved the one in Issaquah so we decided to try the Redmond one. Chips and salsa was delicious. Taquitos was tasty too. But my... steak salad didn't have much flavor. I had to ask for pickled red onions and add some of the salsa to make it better. Myboyfriend has crispy tacos and enchiladas. He didn't care for his meal. Sofitillas wasn't deep fried enough so it was undercooked we felt. Maybe it was just today. I would still give this location another try. Service was really nice. I also gotinformation for catering and they were very helpful with that too. FYI, I did give the Issaquah location a 5 star. Read more
You know, I'm not sure what's up with the poor ratings on here. I tried here tonight with my husband. All we stopped for was... drinks - but what I can report on is that we enjoyed our drinks throughly, the chips and salsa that came with it were crispy endgood! And the service was really pleasant. If anything I didn't like the loud and coughing table next to us. And so I wish theywould have seated us further away, but besides that... (which isn't even really their fault) I would say this is an adorable andclean spot, and I would like to come back for happy hour. Read more
Lovely environment, great service. Delicious food at reasonable price. Highly recommend seafood fajita, which is off the menu,... but you can still order it with waitress. One star deducted for not checking COVID-19 vaccination certificate upon entering fordining. Read more
Delicious and authentic Mexican food with many vegetarian options, BUT, a bit complex to make a dish vegetarian. Will definitely... go again. Food: 4/5 We ordered a vege version of chicken sandwich with brussel sprouts and vege tacos. Firstly - the tacos,chips and guacamole, signs of an authentic Mexican restaurant, were outstanding! The vege sandwich was yum with well balancedspicy, soury and sweet flavours. The tacos were a bit soury and spicy but good overall. Brussel sprouts felt a bit overdone butstill had a nice flavor profile. Ambiance: 3/5 Casual family dining ambiance. Feels homely. The washrooms are big and well keptand the entire place feels hygienic. Service: 2/5 They claim to make any fish vegetarian and that “build your own” makesordering a vege dish complex - they’ll do it but if that retains the original flavours of the dish is another question. And ittook many tries to understand the final vege ingredients and we had to return the tacos to get back what we wanted. Read more
