Me and my roommate decided to go to dinner for Friday night. When we arrived we were seated and then completely ignored for at... least 15 minutes almost literally they stopped one time to ask us what we would like to drink... We both noticed them laughingat us and snickering while looking over the tables at us which we tried to think nothing of it at the time. Then when we get ourfood everything was great until I found a metal piece of a sponge a brillow pad in my food! Now I know they've done all thispurposely the lady was not even remorseful. I couldn't even believe it really when I talked to the guy that I've known for 15years of coming to this restaurant I was so saddened. We literally got up and left didn't even finish the burritos and theystill wanted to charge me $20. for my roommates burrito even though she refused to eat it too after seeing what was in mine.Even after I paid him the $20 they were still looking at both of us thinking that they were getting a tip I couldn't believe it.After them smirking and laughing at us,this really saddens me because I've been coming to this place 15 years, this place wasone of the greatest places in Redmond. Had a miscommunication during ordering. Could?ve been our fault. They were very gracious and understanding and fixed the problem... without a second thought. I?ve been eating here since I was a child and today I had some extra time so I decided to take my daughter after school since we... don?t get a ton of alone time together. For as long as I?ve been going the same waitress has been waiting on me or my family.50/50 that she?s there or that she serves your table from what I?ve seen. She?s kind and often funny(she pretends to forget yourorder, or she will switch up your plates as a joke, maybe pretend to be mad at you.). She knows her stuff and I think anyone whois a regular would remember who she is with a happy memory. The food at this location is your comfort Tex Mex and the margaritasare good and reliable. I think most people from Central Oregon go here for a meal they know will be the same each time and agenerally positive experience. I always get the seafood burrito and it brings me the same consistent comfort each time. Todaysince it was just me and my daughter, when she had to go to the bathroom(she?s 4) we had to take our things with us although Idid leave a sweater just in case they thought we had left. We were not half way through our food and the check had not yet beenbrought, but when we got back, the table was being bussed. I can see why, it honestly probably looked like we had already paid.Rather than cause a scene we just went to the front to pay. I didn?t really think there was much that could be done and the foodand service had been good despite the situation. Our waitress was obviously surprised we were leaving early and offered severaltimes to get us another meal or to send one home with us, and while that was super sweet at that point we just decided it wouldbe easier to go home. I wasn?t mad or upset or short, just really was ready to go. She insisted on no charge for the meal. Great experience. It was a busy night with a lot of families eating after the first day of school plus after school activities.... We were greeted promptly and cheerfully. Service was friendly the whole time. We ordered: pollo a la chipotle - very tasty HUGEportion, a small combination tamale - delicious, a kids taco plate - big hit, and a custom meatless chimichanga with beans ricecheese - it was great and they were so kind about letting me order something a little off the menu. Great food and friendly staff great place to eat.

The male host was rude and awful. He literally walked to a table, tossed down menus and walked away. A host or hostess is the... face of the restaurant. To have one with rude disregard really sets the tone of the experience. The waitress was nice andknowledgeable. The food was a bit bland. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Based on the host alone, I can not in goodconscience recommend this place until that changes. No one deserves that kind of treatment. It's sad in an otherwise goodenvironment. Read more

This was okay Mexican food. We got burritos that were in a very soupy sauce. The filling and sauce were fair but not too... exciting or flavorful. Consistently good if you are looking for traditional tex mex type food. Portions were ample and just what you would expect.... Pretty good service and kind staff. Good place to take kids and larger groups. Overall just a good place for what mostAmericans grew up knowing what is Mexican food. Read more
