The cook has given up on life. The food was not up to the standards of other BBD?s. I ordered the Turkey club and it was so dry,... like cardboard. I looked in and you?d think they were down to there last drop of mayo. The server not once refilled our coffeebut that was ok because the coffee was so gross. I wouldn?t normally say anything but screwing up a club sandwich is pretty hardto do. The manager should be evaluated. Read more

Manager had a kind, gentle manner and got our drinks. Waitress was lively and friendly. Ask her advice as to what is best to... eat. Some older men came in and left without paying. Empty restaurant, waitress was not very experienced or forgetful. Had to ask twice for extra dressing, sandwich was supposed to... have mustard instead mayo, it arrived dry. Had to wait almost 10 minutes to get her attention to get mustard. (Would have beenunderstandable if busy, not busy) She just seemed to not be a happy person. Read more

...UPDATE... Today was our final attempt at eating at the Redmond Black Bear Diner. Only one waiter working he was trying but... wasn't capable of keeping up. We left after 10+ minutes with no service provided. To bad you lost a long term customer today. Iwill never recommend the black bear diner to anyone again. Our waitress today told us to seat ourselves she was alone andmakings a milkshake. We sat down got our own menus. A older guy came In 10 minutes after us and was really rude to her but somehow had his order taken before us. We got up and left for the 2nd time this week. I walked in on 7/22/22 at 8:10 a.m. there were 8 people waiting in the lobby. Within 5 minutes, 6 left stating they have been... completely ignored. I waited 15 additional minutes as people came and went from the lobby, never being seated, and were allcompletely ignored by employees. Very rude and inconsiderate. Myself and several others went across the street to the welcomingsmall diner. This occurred in Redmond, Oregon. I will never be back. Read more

The food was delicious and decent! Atm I was with my Wildland firefighting crew and even though they were understaffed (for... obvious reasons of 2021) they gave us a cozy welcome and feed 20 of us.
