1st time visiting here, and it was more than what I expected. I envisioned Tartan as a low down bar and Night club. Boy was I... surprised. Yes they have a bar, but what I didn't know is that they also have pleanty of booths for dining. I now realize thatTartan in Redlands is a real restaurant that also has a bar. Food is pretty average here. Ordered ribs and a burger but not much to say about it. Couldn't taste the rum in the Pina colada.... The staff is very friendly. Prices are reasonable and the place can get busy. Read more
Service was outstanding, very attentive waitress and waiter. Loved their food, I ordered my steak well-done and it was not... burned. All the food came out on time and hot. It was my husband's and mines first time there. We will be back. We celebrated mybirthday with 3 other couples and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Read more
Love finding these historic gems. Probably making their Prime Rib the same way for 75 years and shouldn't ever change
The pork chop was heavenly: juicy, medium cooked, and spiced perfectly. The $25 dinner came with a baked potato, grilled... veggies, and garlic bread. The fish stew starter was an absolute surprise. Second visit here. Was even better this time around. We were greeted with a smile immediately after walking in. We love the... atmosphere here - it’s on the dark side but lit enough to see the company you’re with. The booth seats are that really coolred and although we haven’t sat at a table those seats look really comfy. Susie our server was just lovely. The food was great- I got the California Chicken sandwich, which has avocado and bacon. The chicken was seasoned well. The fries were crispyoutside and soft inside. My husband got the burger with jalapeño, teriyaki and pineapple. The patty was huge and full ofteriyaki sauce. Overall great experience. Read more
This place is absolutely amazing from their service to their food. The waitresses here and the bartender are all super nice.... They truly know how to make you feel welcome. You can also make reservations for quicker service when you arrive and I love thattheir patio area has the tables apart and a big plus during the cold are their awesome heaters. Their lunch specials are trulyworth the price. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Read more
Simple menu with excellent consistent quality. If you like steak, burgers, grilled fish or some standard salads/sandwiches this... is the place. Retro setting and decor inside complete with overstuffed upholstered booths. Attentive good natured wait staff,nice sized drinks, and a fantastic patio for outdoor dining when the weather is cooperative. They let me and my friend split adinner with no hassle. I prefer nights without music because I rather talk and dine, but if you like energetic music itsavailable on certain nights of the week. Read more
