This bakery was highly recommended. I gave it a shot. I purchased the cupcakes to try the different flavors and test the cake... moistness. I was not disappointed in the cupcake tasting; however, I purchased three cakes for my party. Each a different flavorcake, two with strawberry filling and one with raspberry filling. Each cake was filled with only the direct center with filling.So for example there was only about 5-7 pieces of fruit in the middle of the cakes. There was a ton of buttercream in thecenter. The cake was not moist like the cupcakes either. The only positive was the outside frosting was not full of a sugarytaste. The outside frosting was a semi-sweet which I enjoyed. Maybe just a bad bake or someone forgot to fill the center of thecakes. When you pay a pretty penny for three cakes I expect a great tasting cake with filling that I paid for, not buttercream. My recent purchase of a wedding cake was highly disappointing. I contacted the shop via email and phone and explained the... issues. Wrong color and fingerprints and damage in the cake (see pics) Although the cake itself was a beautiful cake it wassuppose to be dusty blue per picture we gave them. When I called the shop and sent them these photos, they said the staff at thevenue probably touched the cake. As far as the color they said they matched it the best they could off of a photo, that I shouldhave given them a color swatch. (which was never said during our ordering time) You can see the blue sash next to the cake,color it was suppose to be. also you can see the sugar flowers with the right colors. The final picture is the color it wassuppose to be. Highly disappointed in the customer service to blame the venue for the damage to the cake. We ordered a small cake for our elopement in Joshua Tree and picked it up the day before. We shared a couple pieces with our... amazing photographers, cedarandpines.com, and then we ate every last bite of it ourselves, finishing the last piece at theairport on the way home! Candace was great! We tried a couple of places around town for our wedding cake and ended up really enjoying the flavor Sugarbee... offers as well as the environment Candace created. I am vegan and my fiancé (now husband) is definitely not, so finding a cakewas going to be a bit of a challenge. My husband really like her lemon cake and strawberry filling, this ended up being ourmiddle tier. Candace then set up a second tasting with us at no extra charge to try her vegan options. She worked up someflavors just for us as well as vegan icing to try. We ended up doing vegan vanilla for the top layer and vegan red velvet forthe bottom. For taste she strongly suggested not doing fondant and just doing the icing, which was all vegan and very white. Wesent her a picture of the designee wanted and she delivered. She showed up to the venue on time, add all the flower provided byour florist and was just a really sweet and genuine person the day of the event.
