Always had a fantastic experience here on previous visits but tonight both pizzas were beyond delicately spot charred on the... crust and into the realm of crumbling charcoal, while the rest of the pizza was wet and floppy. We asked for the worst of thetwo to be remade. The remake was only slightly less charred but underbaked overall. Too hot too fast? I'm just a small townpizza lawyer. Disappointing compared to prior experiences, unacceptable for the price. Hoping it was a one off. Read more

First time visiting La Volata Pizzeria. I'm visiting from Palm Springs. My friend Lee Burton took me here. Wow. Amazing ambience... and decor. Love the blue banquets. We had the Halibut and Chicken Rigatoni. For dessert, the creme brulee with a surprise berrycompote (coulis) at the bottom. Also, the chocolate semifreddo (I believe it was) with Chantilly cream. Excellent service, foodand bar choices. Truly a Redlands ???? Gem. Can't wait to return! Read more

We had 730pm Sunday reservations for six to celebrate two birthdays and were seated quickly and attended to well. A nice choice... of diverse offerings though we all chose pizzas. Everyone enjoyed their pizzas and the Summer Salad I ordered. They wereeither The roasted garlic, olives and bread were a hit. A few of us had cocktails, with the caiparina and Penicillin beinghits. Overall a pleasant and chill environment, delicious food and a service experience that let us fully focus on each other. Iappreciated our server and the staff that helped us. One of our party had declared, "best in Redlands", and that was before weate. And one of our birthday guys noted we come there for all his birthdays as it is his favorite restaurant. Just a terrificall around place and one where everyone either cleaned their plates or took things home. Highly recommended. Read more

This is a great little place! The staff is so friendly and the restaurant itself is super cute and just a fun experience. The... pizza is good, but can be a little hit or miss. I highly recommend the mushroom pizza or the Rosa. Also, the draft root beer isdelicious! Read more

Incredible restaurant and awesome server Emmy. We had a reservation at 6:30 and when we arrived there was no table available but... they gave us some water and asked if we minded waiting a few minutes. When we finally got seated they gave us a complimentarybowl of their marinated olives. I normally don’t like olives, but I would do some weird things for those olives. We got theAlla Lori pizza and the Rigatoni w/ pesto for our entrees. Both were amazing. For desert we got the Blueberry and Crème FraicheSemifreddo which was also delicious. A must go place for a date night. Read more

First off the vibe is amazing. Great staff and friendly faces. It was slammed tonight and we got a bar top seat in only a 30 min... wait. Our server Nicole was super sweet and gave some great recommendations. Oysters, Jeffe pizza add prucutto with a side ofpesto ???? hubby had the rigatoni we shared and it was so delicious. A lighter wine and cocktail pairs well, I loved the aperolspritz with it. We talked to the owner such a sweet down to earth person beautiful inside and out with all the boss babequalities. This is our 4th visit and have never been disappointed! Can't wait to check out the spring menu. Read more

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my brother and sister. I made a reservation for 8 pm, arrived at 7:08 pm and they accommodated... me. PROS: Very friendly service. Hostess and manager catered to my needs and allowed me to order and wait for my party almostan hour early. Expresso was rich and strong. Oven roasted mushroom medley tasted wonderfully earthy and umami with herbs. TheHoney Pizza and handmade rigatoni pasta with sausage danced with deliciousness on the tongue. The Verdure Pasta was a complexflavor journey from pungent to sweet. Their orange lavender ice tea was refreshing. The cheese plate was good. CONS: At firstthe waitress seemed slightly annoyed that I was placed ahead of my party and that I was conducting work and phone calls quietly. The bread was a bit tough and hard. There was no olive oil or balsamic for the hard bread. Read more
